I think Trump is a hypocritical psychopath who has manipulated the American people by promising things I doubt he’ll do. Most of the people he’s appointed are shitty millionaires who are out of touch with the lives of the middle and working class, an example of which was Betsy Devos’ hearing. But I don’t know the dude and my opinion is essentially irrelevant. I just hope my opinion turns out to be wrong.

Okay. These: "hypocritical psychopath who has manipulated the American people by promising things", and "shitty millionaires who are out of touch with the lives of the middle and working class" can be used to describe almost any politician. It's just easier to spot it with Trump because he's so unlikable (understatement). Still, that said, I'm with you: It looks like Trump is poised to do a lot of damage during his presidency, but part of me hopes that appearances are deceiving. Time will tell. [sigh]
