You two ladies have done a brilliant job with this video! Really "top-drawer" in my op. As a former tin miner I can say with all sincerity, "Far nicer to have worked under-gound for RTZ (Rio Tinto Zinc), that any flippin' Romans!" We went a hell of a lot lot deeper and a lot further than the ancient miners, so the heat and humidity was far more intense, but we were paid well, had great health and safety, and were respected by our employer. There's a lot to be said for that!

Wow, what a wonderful overview of the history of the Roman baths in Britain! Thank you for creating this tour video and sharing it on your channel. It was full of fascinating information and I really learned a lot. For example, I didn't know that "Britain was the chief source of lead in the Roman Empire". That's impressive. Cheers!
  • i watch many museums tours but u 2 are presenting the best i've seen so far. thanx so much. very informative & beautiful footage.

Hi ladies, done it again missed you yesterday.Wow what a lot of wonderful history, I always heard of the Mendip Hills but never knew it's Roman connections, been to Bath, but never went to the Bath house, looks stunning and so glad it had a national status. Your commentary of your videos is always well spoken, clear and a source of knowledge, look forward to next video

Really well done video. Very interesting and informative. I visited Bath on a trip to the UK and fell in love with the city. So beautiful. Despite having been there before, I learned many new things from your video. Thank for such a thorough history and brining us all along,
  • @jrichards-nu9zu
Fantastic!! Was worth the wait 😊. Just don't leave it as long next time, missed your videos.

Ladies! This has been my favorite tour so far! There was so much wonderful info I watched it twice. 😍
  • Really well done! You're both very talented. Thanks a big big bunch for the quality tour. I look forward to the next one!
  • OK,so this is a perfect example of what I love from the two of you. Seeing finds, yes that’s wonderful of course, but this one,you talk about THE LAND. This place, wherever in the world we live,we tend to just walk around, never minding the incredible history that lays at our feet. You showcase this. To you both,I cheer “Bravo!!” This is important, lest people forget. It was forgotten before,no? Also, here’s a fun thing for you: I have enough Roman coins to fill a coffee mug. Not detector found, but from the VERY early car boot-like days of eBay,back when people were selling things that they had no idea about. I’m talking 1997-1999. It was a treasure free for all😊

What a great tour and I'm glad you started with the mines. It was integral to the story of Bath. My wife and I toured Bath in 2002 and this video reminded us of so many forgotten memories. However, I distinctly remember sampling the spring - it tasted like a salt lick or mineral block for livestock. Don't ask me how I know. 😂 Thanks again for this video, you two are a treasure on YouTube. P.S. your quilt jacket at the mines was amazing! My wife is trying to find it online to get one herself.

Fantastic work on the video, Lucie and Ellie! Your presentation was informative and engaging. A hearty congratulations on achieving the milestone of 5,000 subscribers! Warm wishes from Adelaide, Australia. 🦘🦘

What an episode!!!! Ahhhh! So good! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I love your trips! You follow what seems like a strong documentary style that is sooo watchable. Love you both. Also really enjoy your digs as well. It occurred to me at the end while you were in the gift shop that your finds may totally out-do any gift shop offerings. (Chocolates excepted 😁). The food at the end surely made up for the pizza dinner on day one. 💕💕💕💕
  • @frithkin

Gosh, that was good. Thanks Ellie and Lucie. Not sure if you’ve been to Vindolanda yet? We briefly talked about it at Autumn Detectival. Also take in Homesteads site. Would be a great video/edition. Thanks again

That was like a proper TV program! But I have one question. What Pizza did you get? 😆
