Interesting fact: the Cobra is a defensive creature. It strikes only when threatened. It doesn't strike first. This is Jonny Laurence's way of the Cobra
  • The fact that Miguel was the first person to actually stand up against Kreese's own lesson just makes him 10x more badass.

Is anyone gonna ignore the fact that Miguel had the balls to stand up to Kreese. I mean it's Kreese we're talking about and Miguel is the first out of his generation to speak up his mind against the King-Cobra himself. Another great reason why Miguel is one of the Top-5 Best Karate-Kid Characters.

“What was that? That’s not how I taught you how to fight” “That’s what sensei Kreese taught us. This isn’t a tournament this is real life” “Is that how you wanna live your life?” That shows how much Johnny has changed, from Karate kid to Cobra kai

The fact that Miguel stood up to Kreese and wasn't even afraid to do it shows how brave and badass he is

Martin Kove looks great for a 73 year old. Yes, he's aged, but he really doesn't look that different than he did during the 80s.
  • @ProdbyZwm
Miyagi would be proud of Johnny now

In season 3 we are gonna see Kreese Vietnam flashbacks.
  • According To Martin Kove, for season 3 of Cobra Kai, we're going to see that Kreese was bullied in his childhood, see the dreadful experiences he came across during his time in Vietnam, and see how all of that shaped his point of view as the ruthless sensei he is and why he believes you should never show mercy to your enemies.
  • @kevinr278
In classic 80's fashion, the cops just happen to show up exactly when he fight ends.
  • @kblargh
Showing mercy doesn't mean letting your guard down.

STRIKE FIRST!!!! STRIKE HARD!!!! NO MERCY!!!!!!!!!
  • The scene where Tory tells miguel about her mother is one powerful scene and I like the fact that they made a connection with Kreese's philosophy
  • “The other side never fights with any honor.” He’s literally experienced that, which is why he still maintains his ideals on what Cobra Kai is supposed to be, and why he still taught the next gen to do and be the same.

Kreese is such a great villain. Love this series!
  • @mrj7366
I love how casually he says "hit him again"
  • @geocross237
..... No, I still don't think Kreese is right. There's a difference between "no mercy" and "no decency"; destroying everything that crosses you only builds more enemies and makes everyone perceive you as an animal. Miguel was not wrong in showing Robby mercy; his only mistake was keeping his guard down.

Miyagi was in a war to. But he didnt become a angry old man bent on shaping a persons views to his means. He was passive, focused on the good, knew good and gave his students daniel and julie the EXACT advice they needed to hear that he knew would advance them. Life is harsh and cruel yes. But you take those cold hard facts, shape then into positivity lessons you filter out to someone who wants that answer that can both SOLVE and make you realize its exactly what you didnt know you needed. I like both kreese and miyagi badass teachers in their own right

Nothing is black and white. There are times to show mercy. There are times for no half measures.
  • I noticed something here and the scene in season 3 where hawk kicks the tree off the top, is that in that scene kreese eventually walks up to a couple cobras and they all either don’t make eye contact or break eye conteact with kresse, even hawk while only slightly, still breaks eye contact However, in this scene kreese walks right up to miguel, but miguel maintains eye contact, showing further that he is the new king cobra
