After I recovered from cancer, I decided to get more fit but wanted to have fun. I did lots of research and landed on one of your early videos. It helped me decide I wanted to try hooping; I never had. I started the day of my 53rd birthday. That was a year and a half ago. Your tutorials have been part of my journey every step of the way. I'm now working with two hoops & recently started fire spinning! I just wanted to thank you for sharing your time and talent. I never imagined, when I picked it up, what a profound effect spinning would have on my life. Merci et bonne journée!
  • Hi Deanne....well I am still here trying to keep my hoop up without dropping it. I must admit I am getting better. I think as I haven't really exercised for so long it is just a question of keep moving to loosen up. I am 64 but these days that is young. So...........I have had a lot of fun with this combo this morning....wow ... talk about loosening up...great job. OK lasso was really funny to start with...it went flying across the room like a frisbee. After a few attempts I got it...by the time I did about 30 repeats of this combo I was really pleased with myself that I got it. I didn't come up with a combo yet as I just want to keep this set in my head for now and keep practicing. I love this. Getting my body moving again and laughing at myself when it goes a bit wrong. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I will keep going. x

I just made a new combo with these cards. Lasso - Escalator - Weave - Smear - Bounce. Fun! I'm ready for your next combo card video. I am loving this series.

I mixed up the cards and came up with this combo: Escalator, weave, bounce, smear and lasso. I am looking forward to your next combo tutorial! This was fun! I have the cards, but I like having your help how to do the moves and put them together. So, Thank you! I am also one of your online students at Learn.Hooplovers.TV and follow you on Instagram and Facebook as well. I found out about the combo cards from one of your FB Stories a week or so ago and got them right away. Love them!

I started doing this earlier this year with lots of success! It’s easy to fall into habits and get stuck creatively. I also made hoop challenge cards for instance “hoop while sitting in a chair,” “hoop with someone watching,” “learn a new trick,” “film a hoop tutorial.” I also had a big mirror (which since broke) that had all of my goal tricks written on it to keep me motivated and reminded of what I wanted to learn. Thanks for the video!! <3
