  • I don't think I'm going to believe anything from the internet right now. So many people are coming under fire at the moment. It's time for detached observation

Thank you for sharing your side and always being willing to put your name on what you say.

This story is a warning that reinforces the saying: power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. You start bending your rules/morals because power/wealth/access acts like a drug.

Don't forget about the kids in the United States, it's not just other countries but in the United States too.

Thank you thank you thank you for telling the truth. As a trafficking survivor trying to talk about the real problems here at home- literally in people’s homes- I’m so grateful.

16:30 it’s called entrapment. US citizens going to “find” traffickers and in turn created some.

If what you are saying is true, then I feel awful for the people involved, including Tim. I have been to dark places in my life where I stopped and asked myself, "How did I get here?" I understand the slippery slope and people making awful, life-changing decisions. If Tim has done things that are wrong like adultery etc., there is no reason for us to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Sound of Freedom is a great movie, OUR is doing great things. I still stand with O.U.R. We can still continue to save women and children. Hopefully Tim and those involved can heal and grow and move on from this. So sad.

Tramping around poor countries inquiring "where can I buy kids?" And coming up empty handed at least half the time sounds like a huge waste of money, time and resources. It also sounds like the missions were creating a demand where there wasn’t one before.
  • I’m sure getting this close to evil must open bad pathways. I pray for Tim Ballard and all participants in the OUR, as well as all the victims of human trafficking. 🙏

In the Bible, God prohibits channeling familiar spirits.

At any time was there a conversation about seeking mental health for what was seen or done? I use to work with someone whose husband works for the FBI taking down child predators here in Utah. Long story short, because of what they see, she told me at that time the people doing this work are only allowed to see a certain amount of time or pictures, but they then have to go get therapy to keep them balanced and ok because it is horrible. So that is why I wondered if that was ever a conversation and if not, maybe something for those in this industry to really consider going forward. It’s healthy to seek help. 19:37

This sounds like a large CYA ploy. Will the truth ever be known? How many narcissists are involved with this group?

Finally got around to watching this. I briefly worked with OUR on the Children Need Families foundation project. I worked with Janet at the time and got to know OUR and their operations a little closer. Also had close friends work on the video production teams. After all this, I'm responding the same way you did earlier in this episode. I feel duped. And I think it hurts worse than I thought it would because I became a big believer in what we were doing. I wanted to save kids and fight traffickers. Thanks for sharing your story Jimmy. I can tell it's heartbreaking for you as well and that it's not easy to talk about.

This was incredibly sane, and now everything makes sense. Thank you. I lived in Mexico. It didn't take long for me to notice that there were things going on there that I was not supposed to notice. Creeped me out. A missionary gf of mine who tried to protect children got chased all the way into the US. You can't take this on without taking on serious demons, and you'd better be ready for that.

Please Jimmy use your platform to help protect kids in foster care here in the USA … teen girls being sold for sec is real and in the USA … teens in foster care are so so so vulnerable to people preying on them

Thank you Jimmy for this honest and open insight into the world of OUR and your experiences with Tim. As the founder and CEO of a nonprofit, Saving Lost Kids, I am asked weekly about the movie and about Tim. As someone in charge of an organization trying to do great things, my eyes were opened about how some support for the right reasons, some for wrong, and some who are unhealthy, if you don’t feed their narcissism. Your insights here are helpful to me and our organization, because it encourages us to keep our eyes on the prize, and be careful to not let evil or destructive people to restrict or destroy something beautiful that God has created. Thank you again. And thank you for giving of yourself and your safety for the welfare of children that you didn’t even know. I pray that someday we might be able to meet, as I’m sure you have many more nuggets of wisdom that can help our humble organization to continue to grow in a more beautiful way. Sincerest regards, Brian Callies - Saving Lost Kids.

As someone who’s also spent a great deal of time and money in the effort to protect children (and saw through Ballard’s bullshit immediately), you did the right thing. Certainly we are all flawed. But there are a myriad of inconsistencies in Ballard’s yarns that led me to believe that his intent was significantly impure. My son’s father is an operator. This is a very specific term, reserved wholly for military elite (e.g., Delta, DEVGRU, Recon). “Operatives” are CIA. I noticed Ballard claimed to be ex CIA. Yeah, no. He was almost certainly your standard entry level DHS border agent. And that’s great. But having been surrounded by these men, I take issue with those who steal others’ valor. Again, the kids thing is easy. Everyone gets stupid when the cause is children - as well they should. The problem is that scumbags are aware of this too. Ultimately, no, Ballard is not a Jerry Sandusky. But to exonerate him by such a low measure would be a grave injustice. Our kids deserve more than that.

I just saw the very convincing and heart wrenching statements of the women that accuse Tim Ballard. Thank you for your truth, experience, and insight. It helps me answer a lot of questions I didn’t even have. Boy, humans and their journeys are complicated and not so transparent. Your story wasn’t all over the place. I could follow easily. TY again.
