  • Diana Ross and The Supremes were the "Crown Jewel" of Motown. She was also a HUGE influence on Michael Jackson. 11 number 1 hits in the 1960s alone. You need to see The Supremes in the 1960s. Legendary. Cheers.
  • @lylewicks4112
She was in the Supremes, the greatest and best selling girl group of the 60's. They eventually were billed as Diana Ross and the Supremes as their popularity grew to higher and higher levels and the media focused ever closer on her. Finally she embarked on her solo career. A true legend and icon.
  • @Shrykespeare
"Endless Love" by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie is one of the most successful duets in music history. It's a classic.
  • Diana Classics - "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "I'm Coming Out", "Touch Me in the Morning", "It's My Turn", "Missing You (a song about the death of Marvin Gay)", "Upside Down, "Stop in the Name of Love (Supremes)", "Come See About Me (Supremes)", "Where Did Our Love Go (Supremes)" and so many, many more! She was the queen of Motown and credited with breaking out the Jackson 5.

This was released in 1995. She had been on the scene for 30 years plus at this point. You have to try her earlier stuff, from when she was with the Supremes. And then work your way through the years. She has a whole catalogue of hits.
  • @trjbrew
Diana Ross is a living legend. She was the lead singer of The Supremes of Motown fame, her solo work is also outstanding. Try "I'm coming out" it was heavily sampled in the hit song "Mo Money Mo Problems".
  • @DamnSkippyToo
I can't believe you guys haven't touched on The Supremes yet. They were THE girl group of the 60's and you've kind of gone all around them. Diana Ross and The Supremes are queens and legends. They were one of the cornerstone groups of Motown. This, of course, is Diana as a solo artist, but please go back in time for The Supremes when you can.
  • Her career started decades before this song. Strongly recommend Diana Ross and the Supremes. Motown LEGENDS!!✌❤
  • @grecofit
Diane Ross and Lionel Richie. "Endless Love" TRUSSSSSSST ME 😍🔥
  • @26shedan
Diana Ross was on the We are the World video you guys reacted to. You will need to watch that again now that you will recognize so many more of the artists. When I saw the making of that video with the rehearsals I noticed Diana had the most consistently beautiful voice every take they made.
  • @MrSmooth273
In the 60`s, Diana Ross and The Supremes were Motown`s Number 1 Female Group.
  • @mikerichards67
Diana Ross is one of the most influential performers of our lifetime, just a huge library of spectacular music.
  • @SexyGio
Diana, is a legend. Her greatest songs are "Theme from Mahogany (Do you know where your going to)" "Upside Down" "Missing You' "I'm Coming Out" "Endless Love", then all the songs from Diana Ross and The Supremes.
  • She was great as the lead in the movie - Lady Sings the Blues, about the life of Billie Holiday.
  • @iangrant3615
How about checking out Diana Ross's huge hit song CHAIN REACTION...written by (and with backing vocals from) Barry Gibb and the Bee Gees!
  • @nordeguzman
She has tons of hits with her group The Supremes and as solo artist. Among her greatest are All Of My Life, Ain't No Mountain High Enough and I'm Coming Out
  • @joecalabria3472
Dianna has essentially been performing over my entire 65 year lifespan, as she started performing in 1956, the year I was born. She's always been an icon and idol, both with The Supremes and as a solo act. I got to see her in concert just a few years ago... still puts on a GREAT show (she was in early '70s at the time). She made mention that her feet were killing her and ended up taking off her shoes, but that didn't affect her performance one bit. What a show! She also had her "other" daughter (singer-songwriter Rhonda, not Tracee from Black-ish) on stage with her for a few songs.
  • @bobmorneau6738
Who doesn't love this woman! Probably the first Rock/Pop Diva.
  • @dagmar.6954
This is when Diana Ross went solo. But you really need to check out her Motown music from the 60's with her group "The Supremes". Most of their early material was written & produced by Berry Gordy or Smokey Robinson. They had so many great hits such as "Where Did Our Love Go", "Baby Love", "Come See About Me", "Stop! In The Name Of Love", "Back In My Arms Again", "I Hear A Symphony", "You Can't Hurry Love", "Love Is like An Itching In My Heart", "Love Is Here & Now You’re Gone", "You Keep Me Hangin' On", "Love Child", "Someday We'll Be Together" etc.
  • @Summermute7
I love her voice in “Theme from Mahogany (Do You Know Where You’re Goin To)”. Very simple and beautiful.
