The only thing I'd be worried about is cups not being heavy enough to push the fibers down and be stable when you set them on it, but they are so cute I'd probably just keep them on my desk or table for decoration 😆😆❤️

Wouldn't the condensation from a drink soak into the rug and mold? Genuinely curious! Edit: I didn't mean to cause an argument in the replies 😅

Those little ones would make great dollhouse rugs if you make more.

I keep seeing punch-needle coasters and they're so dang cute, I'm this close to buying supplies so I can make some haha

little tip from someone who dabbled in sewing a few times, for the backing if you want to go for a nicer back try folding the fabric under so it hides under and hides the jagged edges but this is only if you want to. People who sew use this to make crisp lines so figured it'd work for that too

Thats so clever !! I love how she dosent make a waste 💓💓
  • I'd say just be careful because iced beverages if in metal or glass tends to freeze to fabrics. I know this from experience but they look really cute!

Won’t last moisture, mold/ mildew would definitely form unless washed after each use (Would probably ruin the carpet to wash that many times), wouldn’t be stable enough for tall glasses especially ones that aren’t full.
