How to remove vinyl decals and stripes

Hello! Some decals don't always come off easily so here are some tips and tricks to help. I actually found that a product called rapid tac adhesive remover works MUCH better at removing the adhesive and doesnt require all of the scrubbing and mixing of chemicals. Read the instructions carefully with this product.

I enjoyed watching and learning. I watch the comments to see your feedback and I appreciate you even creating sir. I have a 2013 Camaro that had red racing stripes that are now sun tanned into a pastel red and chipped liked crazy. I believe I may have to just pay someone for this. I will keep my options open until then. Thank you for remaining professional when people try and tell you how to handle your business it takes a grown man to share when hes learning.

I used a product called pure citrus. It’s a air freshener I got at Walmart for three dollars. Once you get the vinyl off this product works good for removing the adhesive. Let it sit and then scrape with a Bondo spreader.

This is hilarious. I came looking on how to remove my old stripes of my SE 860. What to my surprise, its my exact car..🤣🤣🤣🤣 They 5 years old now and Im in the process of replacing them..

Just removed the stripes off my white car and a yellow tint was left from the glue. What do you suggest for removing the yellow?
