Soon (original song for Dianna) - Kieran Le Cam

When I was around 20 years old (I'm now 33) I developed a desire to understand the world. I started thinking about the philosophy of things, and also, about the physics of things. I watched many youtubers to deepen my understanding of physics, which today has become a passion of mine. One of them was this Youtuber, that went under the name Physics Girl, given name Dianna. I heard Dianna got diagnosed with Long C0\/1D and was struggling a lot. I joined her Patreon to try and support, and make a difference with comments that she may read, but seeing as I'm no expert on anything she's going through, and wondering what difference could words alone do, recently thought that writing a song could perhaps convey my feelings better, as writing songs is what I do. And this is the song I wrote for her.

If you're reading Dianna, please keep fighting, and don't give up, it's hard to see the end of our suffering sometimes, but we just have to keep going.

Much Love,

Kieran

LYRICS:

Hey
Don't you worry
I'll go easy
On
You

What
Kind of music
Do you listen
To

When
You are driving
In some car
To some destination

Playing beside you
As you fall asleep

Hey
Don't you worry
I'll be quiet

Soon

Why
Are you smiling?
Was that funny?
Are you feeling
Peaceful?

Hey
Don't you worry
You'll be saying
To your children

Soon

You'll be floating
On a cloud or
On the ceiling

Soon
You'll be better
Soon
You'll be stronger

Soon
Soon
Soon
Soon
Soon
Soon

Hey
Don't you worry

  • Very nice message of care, concern and reassurance. Kieran's guitar riffs and the background street sounds are a nice combination in support of the singing and lyrics..
  • Hey thanks for this. We both contracted covid our last week in Ireland last September just after seeing you. It has weakened wife's already damaged heart. She's been in and out of the hospital several times and is there now waiting for a pacemaker. Watching your videos and the others from Grafton St has helped raise our spirits and our goal is to make it back there this year. Our prayers are with Dianna.
