Honestly this is how they should handle the off-season, no contract signings, no draft, just have the teams play for players, the season should go Pre Season, Regular Season, Playoffs, NHL Imperialism and repeat all 32 teams looks drastically different each year and would cause some chaos as you go into next season with the roster you have after NHL imperialism ☠️ Edit: in order to fit it into the off-season it should be one game knock outs though
