Amy Winehouse performing a Live acoustic version of Love is a Losing Game for album promo on Back to Black. She was so nice, unassuming... just concerned with practising with her guitarist to get the tracks as good as they could be.

A true artist. Just her voice and a guitar. No gimmick. No useless dancing. No trashy clothes or flashing lights. So rare to see nowadays. Miss you Amy. Thank you for making me feel not so alone.

It took me five years after her passing, but I am instantly connected with this level of raw emotion. She had more talent in one hair than most people have in a lifetime. R.I.P. Amy.

This particular acoustic set she did is OUTSTANDING. Her tone, control, musicality, and versatility is INSANE. Thanks so much for posting!

I can’t get over the raw emotion she put into this performance.

She was brought up on real music - jazz, Sinatra, loved Sarah Vaughan, Donnie Hathaway and Ray Charles. You can hear it in her improvisation, and the value of her lyrics. She was gold.
  • 1 hour later still listening can't stop pressing repeat button. This is brilliant

Amy probably wrote this song with a piece of paper, a pen, and her guitar. In her bedroom one night. Wow. And then there is her singing..... WOW WOW. Miss you and thank you for giving us hope that other original artists may break through.

Probably my favorite rendition of this song, gut-wrenchingly good. That voice never ceases to amaze me
  • Amy always surrounded herself with great musicians (the only kind that could keep up with her singing), but this guitar player was the best. He could fill a room with beautiful chords and not step all over her vocals. That takes major skill and a gentle touch. I wish I knew his name so I could give him proper credit. Anyway, a great duo. Peace.
  • As a kid me and my oldest sister would listen to Amy... it was our special thing and I always saw my sister in Amy. (My sister) She passed away 3 years ago almost 4 in January. I love you Vivi so much with all my heart, I loved when you would sing rehab to me. You both are so special to me even though you're both gone 💛 I will always come back to this because it's SO SO special to me . When I listen to this I feel them both very close to me and I feel joy.

She is so wholly in the song ( I thought she would cry at a few points), and then when she finishes she flashes that sweet shy smile. RIP, dear artist.

My very favorite Amy song. Beautiful version too. She’s relaxed here, a wonderful way to remember her.
  • Amy Winehouse, wherever you are I just want you to thank you for all the music you create. you don't know but for many people like me you were more then a rehab, a therapist, your songs were like a Bible to many of us , and dear lord you might not saved yourself but you saved me , in many ways with your songs. rest in peace great Amy Winehouse you always going to be loved
