I really appreciate your channel because you actually do comprehensive reviews and are critical of the models. A lot of other reviewers are really just showcase people and I appreciate you taking strides to point out differences in a lot of different aspects of the models.

When I started on the railroad, my first couple of trips were in SD70Ms, so these hold a special place in my heart. The sound on these have improved so much. I'm not sure if NS replaced the bells on these, but on the UP the bells are mechanical, not the electronic bell like this model has. However, the other sounds are spot on and I'd happily add one of these to my collection. Thanks for a great review!

Good stuff man! I wanted to wait till I did my review before I watched yours. I installed a V4.0 in mine and surprisingly I didn't have to do any motor programming for it to move really nice at speed step one. I'm pretty happy with these.

Congrats on the find. I did the same with the new version of BNSF SD70Ace. Had an incandescent version and sold it. Never found the LED version. Still on the hunt. Thanks for the video.

I appreciate you and your work and I've learned from you and Dan Cortipasi on how to fix ho trains and alot about DCC also I heard that Athearns 4014 is almost flawless except for price and plastic

What the correct SD70 sound file u use ?

are you using a mega bass speaker or just the standard 28mm

They should have used that start up sequence for there SD60E's

What brand of track are you using?

NS called the sche,e 2594 has as "white face" and only a few 70Ms and a few dash 9s got that scheme but the rest got the normal white unibrow
