In England, we are an engineering country. Most of the modern items we use today and the industrial revolution wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for our engineers. We love that we have the freedom to experiment with things and we are naturally inquisitive. If you look at our health and safety, English plugs, and other items, safety always comes first and to do our due diligence. None of us want to kill ourselves so research, research, research. That is why I am watching your videos and will watch them over and over and over, until I am comfortable in doing it. With your expertise, it would be enough to skip the dangers because Doris who watches East Enders will not attempt this on a Sunday afternoon to spice up her life. Youtube has very clever people sharing ideas, producing and making videos, like yourself, you are talented in your job, building battery packs, producing and editing your own film and your script comes from the heart. Don't underestimate the ability of your viewers, we are here because we want to learn it from someone as skilled as you. Whether we will try to or not, all I would need from you is the price all your tools costs, how much you save by making it yourself vs shop-bought pre-made lower power output and so on. Is it economically viable for me to buy the whole kit and the batteries and spend a lot of my time building the pack, or is it better that I buy one for a Bafang mid drive. What are the pros of self-build? By using Fogstar (thanks for sharing btw) would we be guaranteed better cells in the pack because we built it, or, should we trust the Amazon pack that gets sent to us? I love learning new things on how they work internally and protect the power externally, and that way I will be able to better manage my discharge rates to make batteries last longer and build something I would need for my personal reasons, like ride a bike for 16 miles to work, and then back with a total of 32 miles and not discharging the battery completely. I'll continue watching your videos and so far they are great!
  • Your scare tactics did work for me, Pavel:) Some years ago a friend of mine was telling me about how dangerous lithium batteries can be. As this particular friend of mine tends to be a bit loose with the truth upon occasion (I still like the guy) I did not pay too much attention to what he told me. Then one day I happened upon lithium battery fire videos on Youtube. He was telling the truth! A great intro again, my friend, and a well done information filled video.

Sometimes going into detail takes more than five minutes, for those people with short tension span’s, LOL!! 😁 another great vid bro👍👍
  • Looking forward to the battery build! & looking forward to that carbon fiber tutorial! Awesome job on the videos!
  • @bereal1251
Awesome video bro 👊 love the skull graphic on the deck it's fier !!
  • Amazing instructions!!!! But, Where are the links to buy batteries cells, the spot welder etc?. I’d like to build one but I don’t see any product links..
  • Thats quite expensive to do on your own as a one off! but a lot of fun maybe. looking forward to the next one.
  • I am more on small packs. Watch yours see how goes. You need bucket... sand....tongs grabber pick up cell without grabbing with hand. Fire ext if it's useful.
  • Can you please link a list of all the items on sites to get them, please? I am having trouble out here in America finding the needed parts!
  • @KitesurfRich
Thanks for video, its good but you left a few things out. Thought i would be ok with google lens but I don't think you had a tin of adzuki beans on the bench!!! The list would be great.
  • @SparkyJames

Hi @PavelGarmas I watched your videos but you are building big packs. Could you suggest size of the strip for 6S1P pack of P42 molicel 40A? From table I have found I calculated I should use 20x0.3 pure nickel strip to supply 40A
  • Hi your vids are great and thank you for taking the time to make them. Could i get a list of links to the items you are using or there names like the brands that you trust please?
  • @originalmianos
I agree, one pack, just buy it. If you are super interested I think it is worth buying a welder and start building your own. It is not good financial sense. I come from the quadcopter hobby so I already have a good fear of lipos.
  • @paulstir
what is the red and black tool on the desk with the different size holes
  • @jamieniche
