I was also my mom’s second pregnancy. She told me she went for a routine check up sometime in her 2nd trimester and when the nurse getting her vitals excitingly asked her if she wanted a boy or girl she told her and I quote: “I don’t care if it’s a dog, GET THIS THING OUT OF ME ALREADY!” Spoiler alert……..I’m unfortunately not a dog.

Painfully accurate! Except for my second child the anesthesiologist “forgot” to hook my drip up and the pain meds wore off by the time my son decided he was ready to come out. He was 10 pounds.
