First regular season WNBA game, new teammates, it takes time to build chemistry.

20 pts is amazing for a rookie in their first game. She has so much pressure on her shoulders and considering that things weren’t working well for the team, she did great. 👏👏 keep being you Caitlin!

Rookie, 1st game, and they double teamed her already. They dirty fouled Dirk, he leveled up and they still couldn’t contain him. CC you’re on the way up.

Spent all that time on the bench and still was her teams leading scorer

Caitlin scoring 20 points while having an off game is incredible. Most of her turnovers were her teammates not prepared to receive her passes. Not saying she didn’t make mistakes but also her teammates barely sought her out on the floor to make shots. So many times she was open and the pass never came. I don’t even think I saw her even receive a long pass from a teammate the entire game! They really need to work on a lot of shit. Poor Caitlin looked so uncomfortable out there trying to find her sea legs basically doing everything herself with no one helping her. So much weight on her in all directions smh

For what it's worth, it's first WNBA game I've ever scheduled to watch. Both teams played hard. Honestly, was happy to see good basketball without all the flopping, whining and traveling the NBA has become. Can't wait for the next one.

She is a class act. The Suns put a lot of emphasis on covering her, even full court, and she still scored 20. She will figure it out.

Caitlin Clark had more first game points than many hall of famers....kobe, steph, Mj and many other hofers.

She’s fine. She’ll need to get her head right to weather all the media attention and scrutiny, and losses while this team defines itself…but at the end of the day, she has the talent to figure out her best way to contribute on this team and be a great player in the league once all the frenzy of her arrival has died down.

Clark led her team in scoring in her rookie debut and they still hate on her. They will always try to find negatives instead of looking for positives
