What an athletic young man! I sure hope he never loses a boxing match to an insecure Internet personality.
-
Disclaimer: Uploading it after 12 years is just a coincidence and nothing to do with any recent events.
-
Surprised that, the olympics YouTube channel actually keeps up with trends.
-
Itโs weird to actually see Ben in shape and not looking like a bag of a milk ๐
-
Please don't let this impressive Olympic win by Ben distract you from the fact that Chael P Sonnen pummelled Wanderlei to the floor in flip flops.
-
Okay I see you Olympics social media intern
-
I was a teenager when I first watched this match on TV (yes, TV). What a career Benโs had, and who woulda guessed that heโd be where he is today. ๐
-
Ben was an Olympic wrestler, champion in multiple fight promotions and people will only know him as the dude who got koโd in 5 seconds by Masvidal and got knocked out in 1 min against Jake Paul.
-
wow even the olympics know how to sell a fight ๐
-
Who ever uploaded the video give that man a raise, he know how to get attention to Olympic, he knows the trend
-
Bruh he's gonna work jake edit: this did not age well
-
I'm so glad that despite his recent loss, more and more people outside of MMA discover Ben Askren and get to know that despite the memes, he has always been a spectacular athlete, a classy human being, and a far cry from his "boxing opponent" and that circus of an "boxing event".
-
Ben is the most chill high level athlete haha. The dude went to the Olympics, champion in two different MMA promotions and now doing a little boxing while retired and overweight. Through all of that he is probably the most down to earth fighter, super humble and as real as they come. Iโm rooting for Ben regardless of the outcome.
-
As the ref was trying to hold his hand up in victory, Ben was literally trying to help his opponent up. That speaks volumes in difference of character between Ben and paul.
-
Ben was an Olympic level wrestler that represented the US and ppl associate him with getting flying knee'd and a circus boxing match, what a shame
-
YouTube recommending this immediately after he gets knocked tf out. We know what you're doing YouTube๐๐
-
Lol even the Olympics jumping on the hype train
-
You can really tell that Ben isnโt in it for the limelight. He finishes the fight, respectfully shakes the officials hands and heads back to the locker room
-
At least he was in better shape for this than the boxing fight
