It always amazes me how gymnasts can walk backwards into the corner of the mat and not go out of bounds. They always seem to walk into the corner perfectly.

I don't follow gymnastics usually, so my first time seeing her was at the Olympics. Aside from her talent, the thing I loved most about her was her personality. She was always so perky and bubbly. She seemed like a genuine person even at just 16. I love that she helped Gabby Douglas too, even though she didn't get to compete at the last games.

It’s always so satisfying how she lands, in her floor, and in her 2008 gold medal balance beam. Their always solid and so succinct. So crazy she was like 16 , and now she has a two kids! Congrats to her!

She reminds me of Mary Lou Retton; built like a fire plug, with the energy and grace of a panther.

Shawn's form is some of the best I've ever seen. Her legs are board straight and her feet stay glued together. And she jumps like a freaking bean!

I love how perfectly she preformed the double twisting double back. She almost always stuck it and her knees were always locked together

She has lived an absolutely incredible life such hard work and class. Always giving glory to God. I adore her and am happy to have my kids look up to her.
