Its a place that you should enjoy at least ones in life... passing from ocean to ocean just in few hours and having an amazing view...

Love this Canal System. #DidYouKnow that the Panama Canal helps cruise ships save about 8000 miles on their journey by bypassing the treacherous Cape Horn?

Just one major flaw of the Panama canal is that it loses water every time a ship goes through even in the drought the ships were forced to carry less or they would hit the sharp rocks.

One side goes up, the other one goes down. Simple yet fascinating!

Are they making the ship climb? By increasing water level

Awesome engineering. Do you know if people use the canal to cross over for traveling or it's strictly for shipping businesses?

Right now, 9/2023, drought is limiting how much cargo ships carry !
  • I helped my father in law bring his 70’ motor yacht from Marina DelRey in California around to Texas a few years ago (over a 2 yr period) and going through the Panama Canal was the highlight of the trip.
