The wife bar is for Joe Budden, and him putting hands on his wife. Joe’s old. Joe had said, Drake would wash Gambino in a battle and in acting. Recently, Elliott Wilson talked about Gambino not being Hip-hop. He’s gotta be about 50. And I do think some of the lines were for Drake because Drake said “This is America” was overrated.

I think any references to Kendrick are all giving props to Kendrick beating Drake and reiterating punches from their battle: “I find your house on the app” [cover art to Not Like Us], “people around you ain’t slatt” [ovo moles Kendrick referenced in 6 16 in la] and “…peepin like damn he was right” [reference to Kendrick’s DAMN. album which had a lot of Drake disses in it].
