I met brother JIMMY at Recovery Church here in South Florida and when I met JIMMY, he just picked up his one year cross. He’s been such an inspiration and solid Brother to myself. I had to hear his story and his message of not giving up through all the trials and tribulations, jails hospitals and institutions. This man’s story of strength hope and experience has impacted me and will hopefully impact so many others that are battling the disease of addiction.

    Jimmmmmmy!!!! These are the true gifts of sobriety for me .... Seeing someone else get it... especially someone you love an know how much they mean to so many (kids) an people...Watching them want to get it for so long ... praying for them for years... praying to not get a call or message that the battle ended ....year after year praying an watching an then seeing...it click!!! Jimmy has an amazing testimony, an it doesn't matter how many times slip ups happened...after you hit the rooms, and rehabs or detoxes, programs, you take a piece of it with you each time.... eventually you got it!! We have to hit our rock bottom, an some have to multiple times unfortunately!! If it was easy we'd all get it 😢 there'd be no pain of addiction! (It's all Test of Faith Jimmy!) Keep at it the gifts of sobriety are amazing...even if as small as that mustard seed ... Or as big as your own child seeing your sobriety an coming to you about a friend with an addiction!! Proud of you! You may never know what someone is battling... Or if that gorilla is gonna get off their back....someone will need this story ...
