If you cut the potatoes thick, the outside will be crispy and the inside will be moist like wedge potatoes.
If you cut it thinly like a franchise potato, it will last a little more crispy
It's delicious to eat only french fries, but try it better with cheese sauce.
Cheese sauce can be used as a nacho sauce.


✤ Cooking ingredients
-720g potatoes (2 large ones)
-0.5 tbsp salt (rice spoon)
-2 tbsp of corn starch (rice spoon/potato starch also available)

✤ Cheese sauce
-20g unsalted butter
-0.5 tbsp flour (rice spoon)
-1 teasp of sriracha sauce (replaceable with hot sauce and red pepper powder)
-120ml milk
-108g cheddar cheese

✤ decoration
-Parsley
- Chili powder

✤ TIP
-You can make the cheese sauce only with milk and cheddar cheese.
-If you eat without cheese sauce, you can mix chili powder, cumin powder, and salt and sprinkle it on potatoes.
-You can fry immediately without boiling, but you need to fry for 10 minutes or longer to cook.

Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you.   • I made these tonight and they took me about a little over an hour from peeling potatoes to serving however if I had gotten the water boiling around the end of the wait time for the potatoes it wouldn't have been so long. I also stored my peeled potatoes that weren't yet cut into a bowl of water and placed them back into the same bowl after they were cut. I drained that bowl of water and let them sit in a fresh bowl of water but no more starch came out so that was interesting. I did not understand I needed to submerge the boiled potatoes into an ice water bath I thought just rinsing it would be fine lol. They wpuld have been much easier to dry, coat and fry cold but they came out great! Even with my misunderstanding about the ice bath. Were they delicious yes, were they crispy and soft YES, were they a hit with my family who consist of my husband and 3 picky boys also yes! Keeper of a recipe for sure thank you for sharing!
