Jeez! I've been in school for 16 years of my life, and I still have trouble using commas. Thanks for the great material; it really helped!

Thank you making this video, it was helpful. I am a 57 year old man, that failed at school. Now, I am learning to write correctly, using videos like yours. Thank you again for taking the time to make it.
  • The more punctuation I learn the more fallible my writing becomes. Thank you so much, Jennifer! Take care, everyone. I can't, for the life of me, thank you enough! Keep it up!
  • I am going back to night classes, and I am 53 years old. I had to leave school at the 5th grade, and tonight the reading and writing class, I had tonight has assignments, where do we use commas, and I had a problem figuring out where to put commas. When i saw your video I learned more from you, then I did in the 6 weeks I had my classes. I got them all right, because you explained it very well where I can understand what goes where. Thank you for taking the time to do this video. It has really helped me understand what I need to do. God bless your heart.

I love how you make it easy to understand. But the most important part is the practice part.
  • @noranelkasaby
Thank you so much it was very easy to understand .When I have a writing assignment I usually have a hard time where to put the commas .
  • Tech is a gift for today's learners. Just imagine about students who have completed their education in their local languages and stepped into corporate ladder to make a career and found difficult to have effective communication skills while dealing with clients, peers, and others on real time😢. I was also one among them few years ago, but I'm here to tell them all nothing is impossible if you have growth mindset, accept how u are, and keep learning without worrying about what others think of me..I have just today found this channel when scrolling down on YouTube for English learning. I feel motivated after watching this video and all your comments helping each other to learn together.. Keep going consistently for better results one day.. Happy Learning..Puru from world...😊

It has been 30 + years since I was last in school. I'm taking a basic English class to get back on track. Your videos have helped immensely so far! I realized how lazy I have become about formal writing. Your videos are so easy to follow and the practice really helps. Thank you!

Hi. I usually struggle with grammar and punctuation as a fluent English speaker. This video has given me clarity and the confidence to be able to apply the rules. It has also given me hope to retake the transcription test. Thank you :)

Hi Jenn! Not only are you pretty per se, but you’re pretty good at teaching too. I really enjoyed this particular video on punctuation. Thank you. 🙏🏼
  • @Mr_Steve3D
I was never taught this in school, and now I understand it. Thank you, so much!
  • Thanks Sparkle English for explaining punctuation marks perfectly! I have been struggling but you have built my confidence in writing .

I’m an ex-English teacher, and I love watching your programs. I got mixed up on the use of the comma with quotation marks. I read a lot of British novels and non-fiction, and I’m used to seeing the British rule apply. I had begun to write following the British rule for quotations!! Also, thanks for explaining the Oxford comma. I use it, as I believe it often clarifies items in sentences. Thanks for your great work!
  • Thank you so much mam. I was struggling a lot while transcription, but now my doubts are cleared.
  • @oleg5738
The clearest explanation that I've found so far. Thanks a lot!

I wouldn't know how useful only 17 minutes video was until I watched it I was so happy with what I learned 🎉
  • @barrykulmom
I did learn a couple of things. My high school English teacher told us that she was not happy that they had made her teach. She had been the librarian. She wasn’t in it if you understand what I mean. I have wanted to understand English since learning Spanish. Thank you for your easy to understand help.
