Philosophically the lyrics of Octopus GARDEN are simply the BEST and must be in the TOP 10 of this great band!!!! Only Harrison noticed it first, as you can SEE by his expression, his eyes got bright, and Harrison put a very special guitar in Ringo’s composition. I used to say that these lyrics must be on the Top 10 of the Beatles Songs because after they sang about many themes and conflicts of this life, Ringo noticed that there was no way and the solution was to get out of this crazy World full of cruel people, and move, and live under the sea 🌊 Far away of all this MADNESS. I do love Ringo, I do love OCTOPUS GARDEN - And for me, My Top 5 Beatle is: 1) WHILE MY GUITAR 🎸 2) SEXY SADIE ❤ 3) STRAWBERRY FIELDS 🍓 4) FOOL ON THE HILL ⛰️ 5) OCTOPUS’ GARDEN 🐙 … As you can see, they’re all too philosophical, and anyway this TOP 5 is a TRIBUTE to the complete Group, including Ringo as a Composer of the FAB 4 - Nice life for you all ❤
