Arabian or Arabian horses are a breed of horse born in the Arabian Peninsula. With its unique head shape and high-tailed carriage, the Arabs are one of the most easily recognizable  breeds of horses in the world. It is also one of the oldest breeds, and archaeological evidence of horses in the Middle East resembles modern Arabs 4,500 years ago. Throughout history, Arabian horses have spread around the world through both war and trade and have been used to improve other breeds by adding speed, sophistication, stamina, and strong bones. Today, Arabian pedigree is found in almost all modern  riding horses.

The Arabs evolved in a desert climate and were praised by the nomadic Bedouin. Bedouins were often taken to his family's tents for shelter and protection from theft. Breeding of traits, including the ability to collaborate with people, has created  horse breeds that are friendly, quick learners and willing to please. The Arabs also developed the sassyness and vigilance needed for horses used in raids and wars. This combination of motivation and sensitivity requires modern Arabian horse owners to treat their horses competently and with  respect.  Arabian is a versatile variety. Arabs dominate the field of Endurance Riding and today compete  in many other areas of horse riding sports. They are one of the 10 most popular horse breeds in the world. They are now found all over the world, including the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the European continent, South America (especially Brazil), and their country of origin, the Middle East.

    Arabians look like gazelles, so fragile, but they are the best endurance horses. They have consistently won the Tevis Cup 100 mile endurance ride every year since the late 1950s

    Thank you for your video of magnificent Arabian horses; beyond beautiful, dignified, haughty, intelligent and just too gorgeous for words. The horseman in the PUMA T shirt has an aristocratic bearing to mirror the beautiful Arabian he was leading.     My dream a Dapple Grey Arabian takes my breath away although all Arabian horses are magnificent my heart lays with Dapple Grey's . No other breed compares in my eyes Arabians are the horses of the gods .
