Glock 17 L - Wow!

The @Glock, Inc. 17L is long... very long. It is also a pleasure to shoot. This is the most fun that I've had with a Glock in a very long time. It is not a pistol that you see every day at the range. What are your thoughts on this pistol?

Another oldie but goodie. Thanks for sharing. I had a 17L 30 years ago. There have been times when I regretted selling it, but I think I'm just as happy with my G34.

Yea baby....5/4/24 local gun shop pickup one OTD......$630...new..3 .magazines...and had 3 in stock....also one used with a couple add ons...

Great video!!! I had a model 24, the .40 cal version, back in the mid 90’s and remember it being a “Tack Driver”. I parted ways with it for no good reason, and many times missed having that wonderful long sight radius along with a very soft recoil impulse. Recently I found myself interested in picking up the 17 L, as my primary EDC pistol is a Generation 3 Glock 19, backed up by G17 as well as 19X magazines. I happened to see a brand new one in the case of a local shop, and I purchased it immediately. Going to shoot it tomorrow!!! Thanks again for sharing your personal experience and shooting impressions with the Glock 17L.👍🏻

I also own the G40 10 mm with 6.02" barrel. Its more pleasent, more controllable than the shorter 10 mm G20 and G29. Length matters for accuracy , control and comfort.

Are the Dawson Precision sights not adjustable for elevation to give you a normal sight picture? Also, that looks like a Magpul magwell based on the logo on the back.

Every Glock should come with the nub extended slide release, the extended mag release button like this, my new in box purchased 2021 was produced 8/19/2014. My trigger pull 3.2 to 3.13 lbs. Stock. Absolutely out of the box stock. Only Cleaned and Lubricated. Your right. If you see one buy it !!! I had a G34 for a year with this G17L side by side shooting. Sold the G34. Just did not feel as nice to shoot. The G17L is Glocks Best of Breed.💥🏆🏁👍 A forever keeper. ps, the Streamlight TLR-9 fits the frame with 1/2" - 15 mm to the rear of the barrel tip. Long and slim light, 2 batteries end to end. Perfect for the G17L.
