I'm currently doing a history MA in International Relations and considering doing a PhD once I'm done. Been searching youtube for recent, realistic videos about being a PhD student - so many of them are scary people who never sleep and workout at 5am. I'm not from the US so the process is a little different, but it's so hard to find information about what it's actually like. Your videos are a really helpful look into what the day to day structure is :) Can definitely relate to being confused about readings though lol

I also wanted to add that your videos have been inspiring to me. I’ve struggled with my master’s a lot this semester. I used to see my labmates every day, and that helped keep me on my game, but now it’s harder than ever to stay motivated.
