  • You did it! You found your number one lister! And a fancy dandy, a draped bust, and the militia relic.....this was a magical day! Wow!
  • You have to be a metal detector to know the real joy you get when you make great finds. You must be one happy guy. Great video.

One Martin to another Martin.... Wanted to simply say that youve got one o the best edited, most interesting channels. Love it when you take your time and show and describe your artifacts. From Texas. Since 1812.

I love all your videos.  What fascinating history you uncover.  I like imagining families living there in those beautiful woods.  I know it must have been hard for them, but surely they loved the homesteads they carved out.  I picture rustic cabins, cleared fields for crops or even just a garden, and the daily activities that might have caused the loss of the items you find. I imagine the loss of a coin was a big deal! Thank you for sharing..

  • It's always nice to find a large antler shed. Almost... I found a large one with my tractor tire. $150 repair bill. Fun hunt and thanks for sharing.

You did great for just wondering around. Congrats on you Vermont state copper!
  • Your scenic adventures are second to none! Have to say, the reverse of your 1803 DBLC was an nice as any I can remember seeing posted, just pristine! The highlight for me- the 5 point- what a beautiful animal that came off!

My son and I have been watching your videos for over a year now and look forward to new ones! That shed was a great find! All my time in the woods, I've never found one but I've never found a colonial copper either. :) Thanks for doing what you do. -Randall
  • I metal detected my neighbors garden and found 2 civil war union military buttons. then my neighbors son tells me he found 4 in the same spot. an area about 5x5. I'm thinking a burial, since there was skirmishes all along this river during that time. They were waterbury bottons, 1859-1865. LOVE YOUR VIDS. they make me homesick.
