i love this. i wish my family members could recognize the complexities of the human mind and behavior instead of pretending like suffering [and my suffering] doesn’t exist. i wish all the best for you

Love this and just how supportive your family are being. It warms my heart, because it's the total opposite of what I've experienced with my own parents. Would be interested in hearing a little more about your mum's autism journey if she is comfortable sharing. But just so glad you have an absolute rock of support in her. Your mum is amazing!

I wish I had a good relationship with my mom like this rn. She forced me to exercising which ik is needed for anorexia and stuff but it’s so hard bcs it’s like a voice in my head that’s like non stop “ do workouts or you will gain weight “ or “ get up don’t be lazy u need to burn off those calories “ and like I just got so used to working out and moving around that it became a habit so when my mom saw me dancing around and jumping she got so mad at me and started screaming, she also did not speak to me and gave me the worst attitude.she also forces me to eat some things I don’t want and like trust me I’ve been eating way more than before and I’m trying so hard but she doesn’t get it. And she keeps on accusing me of not eating and exercising * I stopped jumping around basically 100% js sometimes I would walk 10 min after a meal for digestion bcs I deal w a lot of bloating lol * and we are just not talking anymore which is so sad to me. 😢

aw this is so wholesome! i think your mum mentioned she is autistic too at 6:59 if she’s ok with you sharing when was she diagnosed?? was it following your diagnosis as i know many autistic individuals whose parents were diagnosed along with or after them after recognising many symptoms!! i would love to hear more about this shared understanding and experience of autism within your family x
  • That is a giant croissant Zoe is eating! 🤤 Very good 👍. But the question is what coffee shop is it that you go to with her?
