The Mass Disappearances Iceberg - Part 1

Today we're going to be covering the The Mass Disappearances Iceberg. Mass Disappearances are mysterious situations where groups of people go missing all at once - sometimes, these people are never seen again, their missing persons cases remaining unsolved for years, decades... even centuries. In others, these missing people are found in disturbing circumstances.

If you enjoyed this first episode of The Mass Disappearances Iceberg and want me to cover the deeper layers of the iceberg, including more unsolved disappearances, let me know below that you'd like me to make part 2!

  • @nero7469
It infuriates me when I hear about cases when family and friends trample and ruin crime scenes
  • @nixash52
Loved this but the Springfield Three case made me so frustrated its unexplaineable💀 at some point I just sighed because how do you mess up THAT much in a missing person case

the assimilation with the native americans is pretty much accepted by a lot of native americans, as it was passed on through their oral history. Not to mention the statements that it was clear some of the local tribes had people with visibly mixed racial heritage when others went looking later on

Thank the universe! I just had brain surgery and need something to keep me interested whilst stuck in bed. I have been checking everyday for a new video so Thank You 🎉❤

so glad you got to cover the iguala massacre. More people should know about such a mysterious but horrible injustice that those students had to face
  • @sweetleafills
Hadn't heard of the Yemenite Children Affair...jfc. Learning new horrors coming from Israel daily...
  • @AmateurArson
Dude you could totally read audiobooks. Something about the way you tell stories on this channel is very encapsulating. You do a great job man!

Not the first time Israel has disappeared thousands of children

The McStay family case is exactly how witness protection cases go down.

The Roanoke colony isn't really a mystery, and never has been. There's nothing mysterious about the word "Croatoan". It's the name of an island a few miles away from the Roanoke colony. It's pretty likely that they got fed up with their attempts at colony building and went to that island and left the message to explain that.
  • i love how respectful you are of cases, it is very refreshing to see nowadays. thank you for not exploiting these families💜 keep up the great work!

For thise who don't know the full story behind the missing Sodder children, they were definitely kidnapped...... There's so much information that obviously couldn't be added into this video due to time constraints, but I would highly recommend looking up a deep dive, long form video on this because it is absolutely unhinged.. From sightings to a police officer hiding a beef liver on the property and claiming it was the heart of one of the missing children, none of it makes sense.

Your writing getting better and better each video. If you’re ever interested, scary/weird psychedelic trip stories make good content.
  • in terms of the McStay family, I wonder about the searches in the computer. Did the killer initially consider keeping the children alive and selling them in Mexico or was it just a ruse to get the investigators confused? And the car being seen a day later passing by the home is also a confusing detail... I haven't finished watching yet but this is a good Iceberg!

Oh hell yes, just what I needed for my lunch break!

I would love to see a part 2, or however many videos it takes to finish this iceberg. The way you are covering all of this is excellent.
  • @nightwatch3889
Props for creating your own icebergs. Covering other people's bergs is one thing but making your own takes so much research
  • tbh i think the roanoke colony disappearance is probably the easiest to explain: the colonists tried to relocate, and were gradually killed by disease, starvation and the predations of natives
