I'm a cat widow for nearly 9 months now, today is the 1st time I haven't got emotional looking at cat stuff without crying. I still have my emotional days,but most of them are happy now. I still miss her. Enjoy all the good times, because that day your ❤ is going to break when you have to say goodbye for the final time.👋💕🇦🇺

I don't remember my life without cats now.

I'm 64 and have had continuous cat co-habitation for 41 years, plus another 13 years growing up. I cannot imagine my life without them. 😻

As mentioned, for 34 years kitties have been loves in my life…….during the past year both my older babies went to The Rainbow Bridge (at different times). This is beyond hard, yet at least now I do imagine new companions; today though I’m not ready ~ yet. Understanding grief is a process, I’m attempting to experience feeling as they come……and some days are better than others. I know I’m a much better person for the love of all my kitties - and do regard one extra-special fella as the love of my life. He was beyond special, and helped me with living, growing, healing, loving, sharing, and faith. And today I understand ……”tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all”.

You should think about getting another one, or a pair ... you clearly have a lot of love to give, and you're not 'replacing' your lost cat. He/she will understand that you have so much love in your heart, and that there are so many cats who need it. She will smile in heaven and have a purr when she sees it. Best wishes

I often wonder...who actually saved who? Yeah I went to the shelter and adopted my boo boo ... but she saved me from being lonely, she saved me from the evil bath tub,she saved me from going crazy and she saved me from boredom,she just loved me

I never knew how amazing a cat is until I’ve had some. I have Rottweilers, pitbull, and a great Dane, and they love my cats as I do. It’s how you raise them to be social with individuals. My cats come up to everyone.

I grew up with cats, The one mistake i made that I will forever regret is being rough with them. Putting my hands in their faces playing, continuing behaviors that its obvious they dont like - but I still did it....caused several of our kittens to grow up with behavioral problems such as being mean or biting. Several of these video clips show this.

I just love my cat, she is amazing when she curls up in my bed with me, She sometimes sleeps under the covers, and dosen't want to be disturbed, I love watching other cats and all the tricks that they can do.

Right now, I have trouble getting out of my armchair because my cat is on my lap 😅
