In this show we count down the Top Ten Views on Skye as we take you on a scenic journey around the island. The Isle of Skye attracts visitors from all over the world who come to see the amazing scenery that exists on this small island off the west coast of Scotland. We look at new views of classic locations such as the Old Man of Storr, The Quiraing and Elgol, but we also showcase some lesser known, but no less impressive views in other locations. From the very northern tip of the island to the heart of the Cuillin mountains, join us as we count down what we believe are the Top Ten Views on the Isle of Skye.

If you plan to visit the Isle of Skye, please check out these local businesses which have helped make this programme possible. Whether you are looking for accommodation, a restaurant, outdoor activities or somewhere to buy gifts, you will find these companies a great place to start. Many have online shops and ship worldwide, so you don't even need to visit in person (although we strongly suggest you try!) in order to get a piece of Skye.

If you're planning a trip to Skye and have an interest in the outdoor attractions and views, then this is by far the best introduction. We based our four day trip around this and really couldn't have had a better guide. There's enough here to tempt us back for a second visit sometime, and the two absolute highlights were the views of the Old Man of Storr (viewed from the much-quieter higher vantage point, -as recommended) and the ferry trip across from Elgol to Loch Coruisk and the tiring-but-definitely-worth-it climb up Sgurr na Stri. Watch this several times, base your trip around it and you won't be disappointed.

One of the best hours you'll spend on You Tube. I can see this video easily becoming the biggest ever hit for Skye visitors, and probably THE go to video with millions of hits. It deserves it. Well done guys. Absolutely top notch.

This is the video I;ve been looking for, thanks a bunch, I will be heading there in four weeks, woohoo:)
  • Sixty minutes of pure pleasure in this video and it deserves millions of views and thumbs up from the photography community. It is light hearted and jaunty with all the information anyone could ask for in planning a trip to this wonderful Island. Thanks to all your crew for all their work putting it together.

These locations and the guide is brilliant. I am from Canada and just followed the locations in the guide. Even met Nick at the Quiraing Cleat this week and Harry with a workshop group a couple days later.
  • It's already my second time viewing this special issue, and this time I had to share it with my son. We spent our time going from "WOW !!!" to "NOOOO ?" then "HO !". You managed to hook us from the very start, and no letting go until the very last image. You all are a hell of a bunch of talented and passionate pros who do it seriously without taking it seriously... And what a huge amount of work to deliver those goods every month ! This one being so special and well off rankings. I can't thank you enough for the monthly gifts, that's twelve christmas a year... great ! PS : I hope some "content creators" have a deep look and thoughts at what you're doing... as you're setting the cut to the highest possible level, no matter the topic. Bravo, and keep your passion as fresh as it perspires in here.
  • Wow, Wow, Wow, there was me thinking that I had seen every part of Skye! Not so after watching your blog! Mind you - I am a pensioner now and I would find it hard to find those view points for sure! I was a bit shocked to hear some of the pronunciation's I heard from you Scottish folk! After and during watching your blog - It makes one so proud knowing that I am part of Scotland, I am a proud Scotsman and knowing that Scotland is the best country to live in! It has it's history like no other!

Elgol and Coruisk beat the rest hands down - the Black Cuillin is dramatic, picturesque and there's nothing like it in the UK. Nice film :)
