That biological clock comment was so fucking rude and completely uncalled for, you can clearly see she’s so uncomfortable. Zach was so sweet “I love that for you”. Really goes to show the kind of man Ned truly is.
  • This unspoken expectation of the wives to be cleaning is so weird to me. I feel like these days both partners should be doing the housework and looking after children.
  • You can hear it in Keith’s voice when he said “Maybe she doesn’t want kids, at all?” I felt proud of him and Zach for how they responded.

The whole 'he got mad because I threw out his leftovers' is proof of typical cheater attitude where they try and find any fault with their partner to justify their cheating.

Lets also not forget that Ned got mad at Zach for taking down the interior design video because people were trashing on Ariel. And Ned wasn't mad that his wife was attacked, he was mad Zach deleted the video that Ned edited. Really shows you the kind of person he is. He doesn't give 2 shits about Ariel.

i think neds just obsessed with feeling young tbh

Please note. The issue for the company wasn’t that he was cheating on his wife. It was that he was doing it with a subordinate within the company.
  • Honestly her talking in the podcast about like "Do i not clean good enough?" and all that bro you can tell she was just hurt about not being appreciated, it was never about the work she did for him. It was because she obviously noticed he didnt give a shit about her and didnt love her how Kieth loved his wife. when you start to compare yourself to others it means youve been shown youre not good enough, and honestly?? Fuck Ned. She deserves the world.

Looking back I think it becomes quite obvious that Ned was always talking about "my wife" and not about Ariel herself. He was never celebrating her, but rather he was celebrating himself and the fact that he was able to be the first married. Marriage was centered around what it meant to him - rather than the relationship between two people. That's why he makes comments like "Unmarried at 35" because he views it as a goal post and classification rather than an organic consequence of two people feeling love. As uncomfortable as it must be for Ariel to watch people pick apart her cheating husband's behaviour - I think it's also really important that as many women as possible learn to see the signs. You DO clean well enough, you SHOULD split chores 50/50, your husband SHOULD care enough to take down his own video if you're being trashed in the comments, and he should not make comments like that especially not to other women. I hope the consequences of this scandal increase awareness about signs of cheating - and encourage more people to leave relationships where they don't feel nurtured.

the day the podcast episode dropped of ned telling rainie her biological clock was ticking or whatever dumb shit he said was the day I changed my opinion of him
  • @kvreyes1757
I love how Ned goes “Good luck fighting that biological clock” while Keith and Zach is just supportive

"No kids, 35" it's pathetic that he tries to prove that he's a better person because he's married has kids, has a decent career. Just the tone. He's judging her for not having kids meanwhile he's cheating on his wife and by extension his family. The hypocrisy but also the audacity but also the being such a loser, like does he not realize that she's doing great in her life too just because she's not a mom doesn't mean she's sucking at life. That tone just annoyed the crap out of me, the tone of trying to scare people, to manipulate them, to shame them. Pathetic.
  • Oh my god saying ‘good luck beating that biological clock’ is so disrespectful to Rainey, it’s her decision not to have kids
  • @nattiemar
you can literally see how uncomfortable keith is at alex's story 🥴 5:08
  • The moment I started to didn't like Ned was when he flipped out like that in the gingerbread house epidose. Usually Keith gets 'angry' with the judges when they give him criticism, but it's all an act and he immediatly smiles and laughs, showing that it's really just an act. Ned started doing that as well (copy cat) but when he does it, it really isn't funny? It feels real. And when he just flipped that table and began shouting when his gingerbread got burned a bit, that really gave me a bad feeling. He behaved like a toddler, and in the most recent 'No Recipe' season Rachel even mentions that he's scaring the judges. Idk, ever since that moment he just gave me bad vibes, because who views flipping a table and screaming as being comedic?

Lmao. I'm a gay guy, and hella lazy. I don't care if you were my partner, my parents, a roommate, or a friend; if you cleaned my house for me and made me food, I would GUSH about how amazing you are and how thankful I am for everything you do. But yeah, people in general are REALLY bad at noticing Red Flags and Warning Signs.
  • @Mncowen
Yeah that scene of him freaking out because his gingerbread cookies didn’t turn out was insanely frightening to watch for the first time and even worse after all the drama. All the guys have had their freak outs and their meltdowns but that was something else entirely. Like that’s an AWFUL reaction to something like that, I can’t imagine his reactions to really bad things happening to him…

@4:41 when Alex starts talking about taking shots with a guy who should be home with his pregnant gf and she's like, "oH cOmE oN jUsT oNe ShOt?", and then he's hesitant but calls her "baby" is so gross. She's all giddy and giggling over the fact that she could steal this guys attention away from what's actually important instead of just walking away. She's so calculated. Aside from Ned being a massive pos, she's also a pos and every woman with a husband or boyfriend should be careful around her. Homewrecker.
  • What gets to me is the audaciousness of Ned cheating on Ariel in public with a colleague. He was so careless knowing he, Ariel, and the other girl are public figures. Where the hell was his common sense? Was it arrogance or just he was dumb? It was selfish and irresponsible. Even though it is messed he was cheating, he could have just kept it a secret instead of going out in public with his colleague at clubs, restaurants, and concerts. Plus, he betrayed his friends with who he started the business after leaving Buzzfeed. They became close friends because of these videos. Don't forget they have to go through legal bullshit because of Ned. It is messy. Trust is gone and friendships ended. When his kids grow up, they will know about the scandal and Ned will be remembered as the guy who dropped the bag. I hope she divorces him. Ariel deserves better.
