Helped by his crew, this South African became an expert in finding these incredible creatures in the ocean and spending a few seconds swimming with them underwater. We followed the man who freedives with orcas on one of his most beautiful expeditions, completed recently in Norway, and had the opportunity to ask him all about it. See what it takes to go underwater with orcas by watching the new episode of our video series, Dedicate, devoted to those inspiring people who decide to focus their life on achieving a goal beyond the ordinary.""

That's so beautiful. I was just diagnosed with heart disease called Viral Cardiomyopathy and I'm only 28 yrs old. Anything can happen and I look at life so differently. Being able to do something like this would be a dream come true. I lived in Portland Oregon for some years as a teenager and have grown such a love and respect for the Ocean. It's amazing what you were able to capture and I pray and hope that one day I can do the same.

Wow! How could anyone not love this video? Orcas are the best. So beautiful, so majestic, so intelligent. Yet, in the wild, they are completely gentle toward humans, and are as curious about us as we are about them. God is wonderful in His creations.

Most beautiful videofootage of Orcas I've ever seen... just amazing. You can clearly see their intelligence and their family bonds. They travel as a big family, caring for each other. Just impressive...

I just love their voices! I wish we could know how their language works. Cetaceans are phenomenally intelligent--it's thrilling to have other creatures to interact with who have the ability to comprehend things on a near-parallel level as us! <3 I just LOVE animals! I think we underestimate pretty much every species in some way. I've learned this myself with all the animals I've cared for in my life...even reptiles have more going on than I think we assume.
  • 06:10 this sound sent chills down my spine. Those animals just... they are just.. I cant put it in words. Edit: I still cant stop listening to this part, this is the most beautiful vocalization I have ever heard.
