Landing at BOM [4K Dolby Vision HDR] (Chapters in desc.)

This is my Magnum Opus. The stars aligned on this one as I not only selected the perfect seat but also got a really good view of the entire wing, and the weather was beautiful in Mumbai too! The video itself is more geared towards AvGeeks than people who just want to observe the Mumbai skyline, but the scenic beauty makes this well-rounded. Shot on an iPhone 12 using a very steady hand (cramped my arm real bad, and it was sore the entire day, but that didn't stop me!)

This was IndiGo Flight 6E 488 from Bangalore (BLR/VOBL) to Mumbai (BOM/VABB). Aircraft was an Airbus A320 (twin-jet) with tail IGO488. The flight was taken on September 20, 2022, a day prior to my early morning departure to Dubai on the Emirates A380 (EK501). (Such a shame, as they started A380 flights direct to BLR just a month after my booking!)

This was shot in Dolby Vision HDR at 4K 30 FPS (honestly, the videos come out much better in LFR). I directed the video in Premiere Pro and added tiny flairs to make it feel professional and cinematic. I love brands, and Dolby Vision by default! I played a lot around with it on the iPhone, and honestly spent waaaay too long processing, encoding, decoding, recoding, and what not just to get a lot of the exports to work on my LG C2. I also absolutely abhor Apple as a company, but it also has one of the best brands, so I thought why not! (Plus no phone can beat the iPhone in videography, period.)

Honestly, a lot went right on this flight that resulted in this beautiful recording. The fact that the background noise was absolutely minimal was just the cherry on top. I possibly can't top this, so I will regard this as my best piece of art yet.

Absolutely stunning. I literally switched to my open back headphones to get the full ASMR experience. Good work! I would love to see one of a takeoff too!
