Tears of the Kingdom has been out for 6 months already, which is just crazy to think about. But Link has gotten bored of Hyrule and doesn't care about saving Zelda anymore, so we're gonna see if IT IS POSSIBLE to escape Hyrule so Link can explore the lands beyond the map...

....without getting our Nintendo account banned because Nintendo doesn't want us to leave this place! Yippee! This is gonna be fun! 🥰

being fr tho nintendo please don't come after me its just a game i swear-

I am not exactly sure who the original finder(s) of these glitches are, but hey if you happen to be watching this video by chance, let me take a minute to thank you! Because without people like you this wouldn't have even been close to being possible. But because of your hard work it was. :)

Thanks for watching todays video, and thanks for reading!
I apologize for being a little silent recently on YT. My next few videos have already been planned, so until then! o/

  • What it looks like to me is 3 barriers. 2 soft barriers and one hard barrier. The first soft one is the intended boundary of the game, the second is a backup boundary that forms a perfect square around the map, and the 3rd is the actual edge of the game as a whole. If I'm correct, it is actually impossible to go behind the 3rd barrier unless you code in a place beyond the 3rd barrier.

If TotK works similarly to BotW, the second barrier is called an air wall and will constantly push you away unlike the first barrier which was simply an invisible wall like many others. Also, if you get passed an air wall, there's no collision on the ground or water so you will fall and sink forever. Though, this information comes from BotW so it might not be exactly how it works in TotK...
  • Fun fact: if you use a travel medallion, it should be possible to return

If I ever create a video game, I’m going to put the single most difficult secret boss out of bounds, just for the people that want to go through the trouble to investigate that speck in the distance. Defeating the boss with give the player the single most broken, over powered item in the game, and I’m going to somehow figure out how to make it canon to the story.

I'm shocked they didn't make the lands beyond hyrule explorable in totk. That seemed like such an obvious thing to incorporate

Some people want Legend of Zelda to go to outer space or fully Sci-Fi, but that seems like a betrayal of its medieval identity when they can just set the next game in another land outside of Hyrule.
  • @CluckBuckles
1:24 Man was surprised that he didn’t want to save Zelda, even though this is the same guy who just let Zelda fall to her death.
  • @Stiksie
The first Zelda game included that area. The story of Zelda II is where the prince gets the kingdom banished to the small area where Hyrule is now.

I love how everyone seems to have a favorite mishmash outfit in totk. Mine's the midna helmet, the tunic of the depths, and the phantom Ganon pants

Places we have been other than Hyrule: Termina, Lorule, The Great Sea, The Silent Realm, The Twilight Realm....and probably others in games I havent played. Did I miss any?
