  • @ORCMONGOL
The Last Kingdom is criminally underrated
  • The pace of The Last Kingdom is crazy, so much happens each episode feels like a full season.

Even tho I love vikings it fell apart after Ragnar's death and became very inconsistent. But The Last Kingdom is easily the greatest tv show in this genre hands down. Amazing storytelling from start to end and not a single boring moment.

The pace of the Last Kingdom is pretty spectacular. So much happens every episode and they dont drag it out. Definitely #1 in this genre

The Last Kingdom is the best. I loved all the books and the series was so well done. I absolutely can't wait for the movie to come out!!
  • @Greenjr7
The Last Kingdom is by far my favorite.

The last Kingdom was a master piece of storytelling and acting in every episode right to the end. Vikings a close 2nd only because I didn't think much of the last season.
  • Thank you for this video. 10. Knightfall 9. The White Princess 8. Robin Hood - What a callback! It was just too short. 🥺 7. Norsemen 6. The White Queen 5. The Pillars of the Earth 4. Marco Polo 3. The Hollow Crown 2. The Last Kingdom The Spanish Princess Camelot World without End 1. Vikings
  • Having followed the EXCELLENT The Last Kingdom series of books over the past decade, I loved the series and feel it is a wonderful adaptation. That isn’t easy to do, but they certainly pulled it off!

I haven’t seen the others but I have seen Vikings and the last kingdom. The last kingdom is one of the best series I’ve ever seen. Watch it and you will love it.

Vikings and The Last Kingdom are some of the greats. With 5-6 seasons each, it's beautiful and you'll fall in love with it easily. Witcher will reach those levels soon, as it only has 2 seasons out now. The King of All shows remains the Game of Thrones.
  • Dropped vikings after ragnar died and watched the last kingdom to fill in the hole, I'm glad I did that.
  • #TheLastKingdom should be no.1. Such a great storytelling, character development , no filler episodes, amazing action sequences, truly beautiful acted, written, directed. Vikings became absolutely ridiculous and dumb for its last seasons
  • I've not seen the "Hollow Crown" but I'll make my own list : 1) Marco Polo, 2) The name of the rose, 3) The last kingdom, 4) Vikings, 5) The white queen, 6) Camelot, 7) Pillars of the earth, 8) El Cid, 9) Knightfall, 10)The white princess.

The Last Kingdom is definitely my favourite. But I would put on this list Robin of Sherwood (1983-86) too - the best tv adaptation of legendary Robin Hood in my opinion.
  • The White Princess, White Queen and Spanish Princess are all series based on books by Philippa Gregory (who also wrote the book that the film "The Other Boleyn Girl" is based on) and each series is a continuation of the story about England's history. Chronologically you should watch The White Queen first, then The White Princess and then The Spanish Princess. I do hope Starz will adapt the other books.
  • I would add "Kaamelott" (the French TV show) "and Merlin" (both comedies that get a darker tone towards the end). And also "La catedral del mar" and its sequel "Los herederos de la tierra". They're two really amazing Spanish mini-series ! As for your list, I'm a huge fan of "The last kingdom" and "The Pillars of the Earth" ^^
