So Chamillionare actually said Al is amazing and he loved this song. He also said Al is a legitimately great rapper. Pretty awesome getting praise from the original artist
  • @Lorijenken
if weird Al parodies you , you've made it. that's how legendary this guy is.
  • Dude has won a Grammy in every decade he's worked. He's probably one of the best musicians this country has produced, and he exclusively does parody and polka.
  • There’s a petition every year to get him to do the Super Bowl halftime. He’s incredible live.
  • @tric5122
This dude been rocking parodies since the early 80s. And involved in music since the 70s.
    He is legit

His Michael Jackson covers are Eat It (Beat It) and Fat (Bad). Both are hilarious.
  • Donny Osmond (the guy dancing behind Al) did that whole thing in one take. Al never saw him and was glad he didn’t because he said he would’ve busted up laughing. 😂
  • My favorite part will always be Donny Osmond going “pop pop” in the background! 😂
  • Best part in the video is Donny Osmund dancing in the background as his hype man

"Weird Al" is the real deal. He's one of the nicest people EVER. He does so much for fans, veterans, active military, children. He's incredible. He's very private, but very connected to his public/fans. His music skills are off the hook! I've seen him live and he just SLAYS.

The crazy thing about this song is its sort of a way to measure how nerdy you are. The more references you recognize the more nerdy you are. Some are quite easy ones that most people get but then there are a few that require some serious big brain intelligence.
  • I grew up with Weird Al. He’s so clever and unapologetic. He also does a lot for charity. He’s just an all around good guy.
  • @CaddyJim
Weird Al has been doing this for 40 effing years he's parody nearly every popular artists. Many describe they know they've made it when Weird Al has parodied one of their songs
  • @digibirder
I always liked "Its All About The Pentiums". Al doesn't just do a parody for fun. He really DOES a song. He puts his whole soul into it, and becomes the protagonist. Never knew anyone to be so serious about being so funny. I've been a fan since "My Bologna" that he played on an accordion in his school bathroom to get the reverb effect.
  • He's also a rare musician who, despite the decades-long career, fame, and money; hasn't had a single scandal (Amish Paradise doesn't count, Coolio apologized for that one).
  • Loved the cameo appearance from the "other white and nerdy" guy... Donny Osmond! You guys are my freaking medicine!!
  • @DoLo_XO
Wierd Al is underrated as a rapper and extremely creative. Obviously parody but imagine if he ever did a diss song….imagine that 👀… there’s a reason no one challenges this dude. 😂
  • Like A Surgeon, Amish Paradise, Another One Rides The Bus, My Bologna, Eat It, Fat, The White Stuff (in the middle of an Oreo), Taco Grande (Rico Suave), All About The Pentiums, Smells Like Nirvana man I've been jamming on Weird Al nearly 40 yrs now!

Weird Al always asks permission to parody anyone, and a couple of artists love his work enough they were in concert and had to concentrate to make sure they sang their own song indtead of his.
Donny Osmond as a backup dancer makes this more hilarious as he has always been the singer and he's nerding out as a dancer.
  • Donnie Osmond with the Cameo too. Weird Al is a genius. Most artists take it as a compliment to be covered by Weird Al.
