Quick history note on the 911 "widow maker". I think the title was somewhat earned because of the handling of the cars. They had huge 80s turbos with tons of lag so people would hit the gas in a corner off boost and nothing would happen. Eventually when the boost would hit when they weren't ready and they would get scared and take their foot off of the gas and due to the rear engine weight balance this would trigger almost instant, non recoverable, oversteer and send the cars into poles, ditches, innocent bystanders. etc. (nerd rant complete)

If a 70's 911 Turbo isn't a widow maker, I don't know what is! Those things are deadly, not only because of the massive turbo lag, but also the fact the whole car is a pendulum, with all the weight behind the rear axle. They used to put lead bricks in the nose of the car to compensate...

The CX125 actually looks a bit cool tbh...guilty pleasure I guess
  • @ryancraig2795
I think that Gilera CX is pretty cool, actually. It's well proportioned compared to the pictured Buell.
  • @bluevalkyrie2517
Had a DN-01 on the floor for almost 3 years before it finally sold. We were thinking DN-01 meant "Do Not - Own One"
  • @Win7ermu7e
Yammie clearly not familiar with the massive sledgehammer turbo-lag and rear end instability of the 80's 911 Turbos. They were indeed widow-makers.
  • Gilera CX is great bike, very fast for its CC and legal in europe for 16 years old kids
  • @some_guy441
What's crazy is, I haven't even ridden a bike since my dirt bike days as a teenager. But I've watched every video this guy has made for the past 2 years.
  • @marjanmiletic53
I'm so fkn happy to see that other people think that Gilera is gorgeous! You gentleman have excellent taste! 🍻
  • @wesleysouza8615
The widow maker here in Brazil is the Yamaha RD350, good power with bad brakes is always a fun combo
  • @elijahman5769
I have a first gen multistrada and although it looks unique (not in a good way) it's so much fun to ride.
  • @efficacitejm
The B-King is a misunderstood beast. Quirky looks aside, that Hayabusa-powered engine is no joke. Great value for anyone seeking raw, unapologetic power on a budget: 184hp
  • @mancomecanico
Is it wrong that I want at least 70% of the bikes on this list?
  • @bodhim4353
The CX125 is legitimately a dream bike for me, so IDK lol
  • @plap.
1st 911 turbos had peaky power after big turbo lag like the h2. also had snap oversteer. Both combined made "Widowmaker" a absolutely legitimate title for the car. To be sure
