It's not said how fast the cop was going, but he was riding the left lane and should have pulled over to the right, let the guy pass on on the left and then pulled him over if he were speeding.

If someone in the left lane is slower than the limit and I go to the right lane pass them slowly, there is no rule broken, unless there is a rule against driving in a lane at the speed limit.

so what you're not suppose to pass a cop on the right.. U people seem to think cops are on this fucking pedestal. He probably got pulled over for speeding or changing lanes without signal not some passing on the right bullshit.

Certain questions How fast was the cop going? Is it not illegal in 98% of all states to drive in the left lane and not allow traffic - faster to pass or move to the right lane? I saw turn signals used. Was the stop because turn signals were not used? If so, than a false stop. Why was the cop nit moving into the right lane? Was an emergency in affect that we do not know? Knew could fight in a court of law based upon these questions.

I would have stayed behind the cop's car and blown my horn for 30 seconds. Just to make sure the driver acknowledged my presence and his idiotic way of slowing down people.

As long as the cop is going BELOW the speed limit, I have no problem passing them either on the right or left. Pass them all the time, no tickets......most I have passed are usually going 5 or 10 mph below the speed limit. Other folks will check up and not pass them, afraid they will get cited and back up a ton of traffic behind them and the cop. grrrrrr...

Stupid abuse of power by the cop. The guy was driving like most of us drive. The car did not look like a cop car so he did what I do every day. Pass on the right. Cop has an ego problem and hides behind a tin badge.
