The interviewer is seriously trying to force the man to place blame...good on my guy for keeping a "team" mindset
-
"We just didn't get it done" 😅😅😅 my brother refused to blame his friend
-
Andre "I'm leaving here with something" DeGrasse! Team Canada did their job on the day. Major congrats to all!
-
Good job on Coleman not giving in to pointing blame on his teammate. That's how you stand up for your brother 🏆
-
De'grasse always find a way to get that hardware 😂🎉
-
Christian Coleman wouldn't let Lewis Johnson make him point the finger. Respect.
-
Brutal interview, what do you want him to say? Blame his teammate?
-
I think we can all agree DeGrasse is perhaps the MOST fortunate man in Track & Field. This guy knows how to be at the right place at the right time.
-
1. Coleman had a great start 2. Kenny ran way too early 3. Kyree did a good job trying to catch up 4. Kerley left too late Many mistakes. The relay coach is the main blame here.
-
Congratulation to Canada!! For the U.S. , the second leg runner took off much too early and too fast, thus putting tremendous pressure on Coleman. Not Coleman's fault!!!
-
What kinda BS interview is this? He tried to get Coleman to place blame on Kenny Bednarek. Good thing he had teamwork mind frame when answering questions.
-
A 2:29 you can see that Bednarek takes off way before Coleman hits the tape marker (practices determine the marker placement). Coleman didn't want to admit that Bednarek took off early, but the video clearly shows it.
-
Kenny Bednarek definitely ran out earlier than he should have. ‘Placing blame’ may not be what everyone wants to see but identifying the issue is important. USA Men 4x100 have been like this for 20 years 😭
-
5:30 I think the tape mark tells the story: Bednarek got confused and thought the French runner in the next lane was his teammate. Both US and France have blue uniforms and you can see Bednarek starts running exactly when the French guy reaches his tape mark. If you pause at 6:00, you can see Bednarek is the only one who isn't looking over his left shoulder. Instead he's looking through his legs, which limits his vision. This may be why he got them mixed up
-
I'm always shocked at how little relay teams practice hand-offs. It's THE thing that decides the race
-
Why US runners always botch the baton exchange? It has happened over and over.
-
Bednarek was looking for Coleman through his legs instead of across his shoulders and misjudged where Coleman was.
-
Coleman's response shows real sportsmanship...."we" just didn't get it done.🎉
-
Keep the same runners who got the US to the Finals, stop switching them out ...
-
6:00 Kenny is the only runner who is not looking back to see where his teamate is
