    They could make a ship module that scans the mission area and lets you know what the types of enemies youre going up against like pouncers/bile spewers. They had that as an upgrade on XCOM2

    The game really needs to provide intel on the type of enemies. The difference in gameplay between a pouncer and a spitter world are massive

    Tenderizer should just be called Tenderized. It needs to go back in the oven. Whoever designed it didn't look at it next to the base liberator. I bet that stalker left with him in the extraction ship and it's still hunting him.

    ARs need more armor pen to be useful. Youre sacrificing dmg output for range but its not enough dmg output to handle really anything effectively. They need a rework. If a gun cant handle medium targets effectively, it needs knockback or crazy dmg output against light targets in order to handle bugs, Punisher, Incindieary breaker, and scorcher is about the only guns that are useful. New smg does stunlock targets but doesnt have any knockback and doesnt do enough dmg to be ammo efficient. Punisher hits harder, knocks back bugs, AND stun locks stalkers. new smg takes nearly a whole mag to kill a stalker.

    Arrowhead: Why aren’t players using the new weapons? Players: ALL THE WEAPONS ARE TRASH AND NOT WORTH USING OVER THE OLD GUNS. Arrowhead: The old guns must be too strong let’s do another wave of nerfs to balance this out 🤠

    I'm pretty sure they forgot to update the Tenderizer's stats after they buffed the Liberator's damage, but even then, five damage per round at a sacrifice of fifteen rounds per magazine wouldn't have been worth it. Hell, even if it had 80 like the Adjudicator, I'm not sure there would be a reason to take it over the Liberator, because it's not as if that will consistently one-shot trash without hitting weak points.

    I was so wound up by the end of your run! I thought for sure you’d get the SEAF artillery…I think you could have, but wouldn’t have made it out alive. Thanks for the review and fun time, as always!
  • They should delay any new warbonds. The game is still quiet unstable and full of bugs and glitches and they need to fix that first of all. I don't use the ARs at all because they seem rather weak and you have to reload every 5 seconds. Give me an AR with a 100 rounds drum magazin and an underslung gl and I might use it.

    All the assault rifles need much larger magazines. Reloading after every handful of enemies killed is the issue. Sickle feels great because you can mag dump many enemies. Shotguns feel great because you can mag dump many enemies. It's not a complicated issue at all. Add 15 rounds to the assault rifles and maybe 10 to the adjudicator. Lib concussive and the tenderizer need further adjustments.

  • A really underrated strategem is the hmg emplacement. It has medium (5) armour penetration and unrivaled damage. It has a short cool down so you just pop it down on every bug breach and it destroys trash and is the best option in the game to deal with spewers. Think of it like two full auto anti material rifles with 400 bullets. The ammo always last practically the whole bug breach so it really is super strong. Some tips if you are interested: Its armour penetration allows it to take out shrieker nests and spore spewers. It needs about 20 seconds for all three nests and it can be done from any range so it is the fastest and easiest method I can think of. Small bugs seem to struggle to target you while mounting the gun. They just stand around the gun looking at you. This means you are safe to target commanders and spewers first, and then mop up all the hunters surrounding you last. The hmg emplacement can not penetrate heavy armour (6), and gets one shot by chargers and bile titans. Running the qasar and maybe stuns allow you to quickly jump off, kill chargers and jump back on. The hmg emplacement can also destroy the green sacks on the BTs belly very fast. Finally, one must recognize that the player is what is valuable, and the weapon is just a tool. Sometimes the situation is to bad for you to get anything out of the stratagem, and then you must leave it behind even with full ammo. Hope that helps:)

  • Best AR is still the Stalwart. Yeah, I know it's a SAW, but pop the giggle switch up to 1150 RPM and have fun.
