He’s preparing us for when he destroys the sun. A good man
  • @LabMember_009
People in 1 billion years when they find this video will be like: WhO's HeRe AfTeR tHe SuN iS gOnE?
  • @Purple_Sweater
It's interesting how - theoretically - we'd be better off if the sun disappeared than if the earth would stop spinning.
  • @mbwhly
The idea that Earth could fly off for thousands and thousands of kilometers and potentially end up in another solar system and then regenerate is utterly fascinating and I could listen to that theory in depth for hours.

this guy is like the substitute science teacher everyone loves
  • I can just imagine the sun actually disappearing and my family's freaking out and I can just be like "Calm down, I know a video that will explain everything."
  • @CJ_DJ
Who else is here after the sun exploded?
  • @dilmaster3
The fact that life can reemerge even after billions of years of extinction, just goes to show the potential of finding other life on other planets
  • @adityayv1873
Vsauce: “Matter cannot disappear” My nerf bullets: Yeah lol
  • Update: it’s 2022 and the sun hasn’t disappeared yet, but I still like to revisit Michael’s older videos.
  • @Planetkid32
10:07, the music cue right when he speaks how Earth would be a space ship is so perfectly timed it kinda feels scary.
  • @Calthecool
One of the most epic endings of a video of all time.
  • @marnsdnfois7006
Human Brain: Whoa that's scary. Good thing this is literally impossible. Monkey Brain: You gotta move to Iceland.
  • @dylancook7732
what I found really cool is that the extremophiles at the bottom of the ocean would be both the first life forms on earth and the last in this scenario
  • @rporta
0:58 the transitions are always so amazing lol, the way he makes makes you so interested in something that is not even part of actual topic lol
