Nice, now I need to find an hour long video of a fire truck driving on a clear highway to get rid of the anxiety I got from watching this video.
-
Sad no one is appreciating the beautiful cooperation between the drivers and the firefighters. Excellent teamwork to help save lives <3
-
This is truly a civilised nation and society.
-
The sound of the siren as they entered the tunnel was soo satisfying
-
When everyone decides to let themselves take the burden, everyone only pays a fraction of the actual cost.
-
I like how the curbs are small, so people can drive over it so emergency vehicles have more space, unlike the US
-
Meanwhile in Germany: sirens be splitting traffic like Moses split the sea
-
Illustrates perfectly, why you should ALWAYS leave space between you and the vehicle in front - so you can move left or right to create space for emergency vehicles to pass!

3:15 That bus actually did a great job! 2:41 PM 6/27/2020
-
That was stressful just watching
-
I remember doing this in GTA in a fire engine mission, and I might or might not have intentionally moved the cars out of my way 😂
-
Imagine being in the car right in front of the ambulance while stuck in rush hour traffick
-
0:55 no pressure to the driver of that car
-
As a German, this honestly makes me mad. Everyone is praising how well everyone is yielding, when what they do is absolute chaos and the fire fighters have to drive in a zigzag around cars all the time and constantly have to switch lanes because the emergency lane formed is not always in the same place. There's a simple rule to mitigate this: If you're in the leftmost lane, move to the left, in all other lanes, move to the right. That way an emergency lane forms in the same place everywhere, and it's much easier to drive through. All countries in the world, adopt the Rettungsgasse!

The Siren sound in the beginning is straight out of Pacman lol
-
I lived 16 years in a country where people couldn't care less if an ambulance was behind them...this is refreshing to come back to.
-
Bus driver did brilliant job in the tunnel
-
The siren sounds so friendly compared to the aggressive Martinshorn
-
Americans: wow that is so nice! Germans: What is this chaos? Dutch: We have special roads for that!

If the cars would build a proper “Rettungsgasse”, Firefighters would be there in less than a minute. 😁
