My mother used regular pie crusts, baked. Then different flavored Jello and whipping cream. Finally added pieces of fresh cut fruit of the same flavor as that of the Jello.

I recently moved to Woodstock, Illinois, just north of Chicago, (moving here last July), but before that, and for the past 28 years (since November of 1996) I lived in Los Angeles, California making movies. Before that I lived in Europe, (Vienna for one year for Grad School, Paris for two years just to write plays, and traveling all over the world for the five years before that). I am now 64, but I spent my earlier life living mostly in Chicago and Los Angeles, except for my University years as an art student at Tufts when I lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and then later for film school at NYU in New York City. As a Child in the late 1960s I lived with my hippy parents in a VW bus, hunting, fishing, and foraging for our food as we traveled through the US & Canada.
