it's so nice when responsible owners ask for help relatively soon and then they put in the work. and I love it that Victoria emphasises it that it's the OWNERS who do the work, and it's not some miracle that just happens overnight

Speaking as someone who also raised a gsd puppy during lockdown, I sympathize. I would take a bullet for my dog but I wouldn’t re-live his puppyhood for anything. The difference is I didn’t have a partner or children so I was able to devote all of my time to helping my dog learn manners and bite inhibition. A gsd puppy is a full-time job.

Problems aside, what a beautiful dog. She looks really well kept.

Love how when Victoria first walked in, Phoenix was being the most adorable loveable puppy. Dad: 'She barks and foams at the mouth' Phoenix: 'this is my favorite ball right now' 🥹

you can tell that dog is just smart as hell, trying to figure everything out, trying to figure the humans out, and looking for some clarity and for someone to tell her what the heck is going on in dog language so that she can be the gorgeous talented helpful contributing pack member she was born to be

Amazing owners, stunning dog. GSDs are such wonderful furry companions, and one of my favorite GSD traits is their high intellect and ability to learn. I adopted an adult rescued GSD, coincidentally the day everything went on lockdown, and I don't think I can love him more than I do already.

On behalf of your neighbours, thank you. I'm very happy that you're working on training your dog to behave

Victoria is truly a dog psychologist and a human trainer. What an incredible woman.
-
I am so blessed to have a GSD with such a calm demeanor. This poor family. So glad they and Phoenix got help.
-
many trainers will suggest prong collar or shock collar but victoria's 'double connection leash' is surprisingly amazing. her ways are very different compare to other dog trainers.
-
Phoenix is an absolutely beautiful dog. Glad they are getting help training her.
-
Watching the joy on Victoria's face when a dog does the right thing is wonderful ❤️
-
I always think that getting the puppy while your older dog is still alive to teach the pup how to behave is good.
-
She's not biting! She's mouthing!!! Completely different!
-
This is a working dog, it needs a job, orders, rules and a leader. It is not a child to spoil, it won’t be happy living a life with no purpose. Take a good care of her, she is gorgeous.

What a beautiful dog. Always makes me so happy to man’s best friend respond well to training.
-
She is very smart. Only a few tries and she understands the word and what to do.

I've been raising and training my 9 month old GSD since he was 7 weeks by myself. I work 4 days a week, 12 hrs shifts at night. When he was a puppy, an ex girlfriend who's great with dogs watched him and assisted with some training while I was at work. Coming home after working 12hrs and having to devote 3 more hours to him was rough, but I knew it would pay off and i really enjoy it. For 9 months he's well trained. I have no wife/girlfriend, no kids, iam alone 90% of the time. He's all I have so i literally love him like a son. An amazing companion and a deep bond i wouldn't trade for anything.

One of the challenges of training dogs is thinking like a dog. Thinking like a human, it makes sense that being pushed away with arms and legs is a "bad thing". But to a dog, this can be seen as a reward for its behavior.

I have watched this show since 2010 and let me just say... Victoria hasn't aged at all! She looks the same as she did 14 years ago!
