USA: "Das liebt Trump!" Experte verrät! Eine Kopfbewegung des Ex-Präsidenten fiel besonders auf

USA: "Donald Trump loves this!" Expert reveals! One head movement of the ex-president was particularly noticeable!

After the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the former US president announced that he would work to overcome the extreme political hostilities in the country. But by naming his candidate for the vice presidency, Trump is sending the opposite signal: his chosen Senator JD Vance is an ultra-right hardliner who is even further to the right than Trump on some issues, such as abortion rights.

The 39-year-old bestselling author and former financial investor had distinguished himself shortly before his election as vice-candidate with a particularly polemical reaction to the Pennsylvania attack - by attributing some responsibility for the violent act to President Joe Biden.

"The central premise of Biden's campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs," Vance wrote on the online service X. "This rhetoric led directly to the attempted assassination of President Trump." However, Vance is doing his own part to further inflame the political climate in the country.

Since entering the US Senate, Vance, who comes from a poor working-class family and became famous through his autobiographical book "Hillbilly Elegy", has emerged as a particularly aggressive foe of Trump. The young Republican senator adopted Trump's conspiracy theory of alleged massive fraud in the 2020 presidential election and copied his role model's hate speech against migrants.

Vance also advocates a protectionist trade policy and rails against US aid to Ukraine in its war against Russia. And when it comes to abortion rights, he has even overtaken his role model on the right. Vance advocates a rigorous ban, even in cases of rape and incest.

Germany is also one of the targets of his polemics. Last year, the senator lashed out at Germany's "weak" defense policy and "idiotic" energy policy - by which he meant that Germany had become too dependent on Russian gas in the past. These attacks sparked an online exchange between Vance and the then German ambassador to Washington, Emily Haber.

The senator with the round face, flawless parting and well-groomed beard has also made a name for himself as a Trump whip, urging Republicans in Congress to support the former president in unison: "I have a good memory," he warned potential dissidents a few months ago.

Vance himself is one of the most agile of the not insignificant turncoats among Trump loyalists in Congress. It was only a few years ago that he spoke of Trump with disgust: "My God, what an idiot," Vance tweeted about the future president in 2016. He even once compared the right-wing populist to Adolf Hitler.

After entering politics, the Catholic father of three became an ardent Trump admirer. It was also Trump who played a major role in his entry into the US Senate. At the time, Vance publicly groveled and took back his criticism of Trump: "I regret that I was wrong."

Before he came to Washington, Vance had already made a rapid rise into the social elite. He comes from Middletown, Ohio, a small town in the "rust belt" region characterized by the decline of the steel industry. His mother struggled with drug and alcohol problems for years.

Vance joined the army and served in the Iraq War, later graduating with a law degree from the elite Yale University before pursuing a career in California's Silicon Valley. Vance then became instantly famous with "Hillbilly Elegy: The Story of My Family and a Society in Crisis". The book was later made into a film for the streaming service Netflix.
