I once saw an Indian youtuber who said: "If you liked the video, leave a like. If you didn't, leave a dislike and comment on how I can improve in the future." He is my hero.
-
You forgot about the ”Theres a youtube glitch going around causing people to randomly unsubscribe”
-
the color correction and aspect ratios really sold this. your editing is always so on point
-
Back in the early days of YouTube, there were no like buttons, only stars.
-
It's scary how accurate the 2020 one was. It's literally word for word
-
Legends say to this day, people are still waiting for that cookie
-
For 2008 he should mention rating 5 stars as well
-
The only reason i watched this video was to see if the subscribe button would light up
-
I like the implication that Minecraft is immortal, and will still be an incredibly popular game after decades.
-
The fact you disrespect our history, and did not include "LEAVE A FIVE STAR REVIEW" is foul.
-
One creator I follow did a test. He never said “like and subscribe” in his videos because he thought it was tacky. It turns out, after he tried saying it, he got a boost in his subscription numbers. Some people actually respond to being told to subscribe.
-
somehow he even got the lighting right for each era
-
On point as always, but you’re missing that 2016-2019 era where they would promise free giveaways and merch if you liked, subscribed and commented a response to some bs prompt like “what’s YOUR favorite lewd Minecraft mod? Let me know and I’ll read your comments :)” when they totally don’t read any
-
Making a video mocking YouTubers for asking for likes and subscribing is such genius. It’s like a company mocking other companies for advertising. You’re a master. I smashed the like button so hard I need a new mouse.
-
0:23 subscribe button glows
-
the subcribe button only lit up once. C'MON!!!
-
nowadays i feel like the message to 'like and subscribe' has become an existential mind game of how to manipulate your audience or how to be genuine
-
2008's is so adorable. It's like he's just proud that he got a video out there into the world. And he should be. Sharing digital media to random people all over the world is a marvel of human accomplishment.
-
Only thing is, in 2008 it would have been "rate 5 stars and subscribe" since like and dislike came later. But yeah, this is pretty accurate.

You forgot to remind us to SMASH THAT NOTIFICATION BELL so we can get updates EVERY SINGLE TIME you upload (even though it still doesn't work half the time) and to share with all our friends and check out your merch/today's sponsor/your second channel/your Twitch no one cares about...
