We were at Bunyon on Saturday and we looked hard to find you and if you were there, sorry we missed you we tried but couldn't find you.

Chris, you made a couple of three pointers when you were throwing that birch into the totes.

We have a bunch of totes that we fill up and set aside for our customers who order at least a year ahead. We put their wood in and tags the totes with their name on them then stack them up with the tractor.

Having watched the channel for a long time now I've come to the conclusion that you need to have all the great gear you've got,but the most important asset is a "Burt!" what an operator! Cheers from H.B. N Z

Take the crossbars off the top and you can heap it up and get a lot more in a tote. I cut the sides out and use the cut out section and bars to make a ‘gate’ which allows easy access to dig the wood out.

Awesome vid that day Chris! Fun watching! Agree with all your points you noted at the end there! 🔥💯👍. See you soon! Andrew from NB :)
  • I only use totes anymore for pre measured orders that I have a very few close friends pick up and for keeping my bundle wood in. Keeping bundle wood in one is very convenient because I can just pick it up and move it into my shop where the bundler is so Im out of the weather. They do make a wood yard nice and neat though. I. think in Bert's situation they are perfect.

Here in the UK your wood just doesn't end up dry in winter if it's stacked but does if it's in ibc totes, best thing i've ever had for it

The totes I’m using I cut an opening in one side and we stack the wood in them. I am currently making a big bin 16ft wide 30ft long, I need to conserve space. Keep on cutting
  • I think those totes will work great, if you planning to do bundles in the future. Less work for moving the wood around. 👍 Most common over here is to pack it in a net bag. (Somewhere around 1,5 cubic foot) Those sell for something around $10... Birch firewood works great! That’s the most preferd wood over here, and problaby the easiest to get. It gross like weeds! 😂 It’s been great to see you expand your business and having alot of fun! Be safe and keep on playing, boys! 👍
