    What's good bro?! Loving all your videos! I started fishing hard for Tautogs 2 Fall seasons ago and I absolutely love it! Was able to catch many Togs exactly the same way you do. Everything you mentioned is so spot on! I too started fishing for them from the shore and using a sinker and lost a ton of rigs. I learned to tie a small lighter test line to the leader line then tie to the sinker, this way I could break off just the sinker when the sinker got stuck in the rocks. Also the height where the hook on the leader hangs down made a huge difference. I noticed if the hook would hang down but be more then 2 inches from the bottom, the bite was not good. When the hook is on a leader line hanging off the sinker line and about 1 inch from the sinker bottom, I had more hook ups. If the hook was too high, I had less success. Just like you I got a kayak last year and switched over to jigs and it was an amazing experience for me as well. I would drop it all the way down and feel the bottom then raise it an inch and get bite after bite. I appreciate your wise words regarding the females, we have to do our part to keep this sport, hobby livelihood enjoyable. Same with the Striped Bass females. Keep up the awesome videos bro! Enjoy you season, tight lines! <{

    Awesome video! Hey question what type of kayak cart do you use?
  • @Reeltime516
    More great content bro! You have a preference on color with the jigs?
  • Nice video, a couple of questions that were sparked after watching were: What depths should you target in april for spring blackfish? Do water temps matter?

    Also jugs work really really well for shore (rocks) . That’s actually how I practiced for boat trips. Ironically, I lose more jigs on boats than from shore 😂. Easier to lose contact.. from land I lose more jigs on incoming than outgoing. Pushed into the rocks more..
  • Love your videos! Thanks for your info! Would love to fish with you some time if that's ok? I kayak fish, have Hobie adventure island and also surf cast. Have 4x4 fishing permit.......

    I get anxiety just thinking about tying rigs fishing from shore.....its all worth it though.
  • When I would go diving at night the black fish would lean against a boulder and go to sleep.

    Do you collect your own bait? Or do you buy it? I have more success when I get those smaller Asian crabs
