At ReDriven, we’ll be taking you through the pros and cons of a huge range of used cars to see how well they’re going now that they’re a few years old, have thousands of kilometres on the clock, and are coming toward the end of their warranty, or maybe don’t have one at all.

Plus, thanks to our resident mechanic, Jim, you’ll find out what commonly goes wrong with them and what might need to be fixed.

Most importantly, we want to make ReDriven a voice for the most in-the-know used car experts there are...you guys.. See, you’re the ones that actually buy, live with, love and sometimes unfortunately hate the cars we’ll be reviewing.

So we want to hear your thoughts. Hit us up in the comments, or on Instagram and Facebook.

We’d love nothing more than for you to give us as much feedback as possible, so we can make this channel the best it can be.

  • My daily driver RX350 2010 with almost 300k KMs drives perfectly and smoothly and never failed. Simply it is a luxury SUV with bulletproof Toyota reliability
  • I’ve owned a 2007 for 3 years. Bought it for 5,500 with 120,000 miles. Today 150,000 miles and absolutely zero problems. They are amazing cars
  • @ShubhoBose
This has been the best selling luxury crossover(SUV) in the US ever since its introduction apparently.
  • @edyue1
Just got a 2013 RX350 with 133,000 miles and it’s in amazing condition. Drives like a dream, with just enough firmness. The premium Mark Levinson sound system is pleasing to the ears. Nicest SUV/vehicle I’ve ever owned. Hope to get 300,000 miles out of it 🤞
  • @simonsaphire
I've has a 2012 RX450h for 3 years with zero problems. Amazing car. I wouldn't risk any European SUV of that age!
  • In 47 years of driving, my Lexus RX 450h is the best car I've ever owned, I owned an RX300 straight V6,i kept that for 5 years, zero issues! Then I bought my RX450h 3 years ago, zero issues Amazing reliability, style looks, economical for a 3.5 V6, with double glazed windows all round!it gives complete driver satisfaction, quality materials, and just sheer class💙
  • @TitanMorsche
Got an RX350 recently. A 2010. She is amazing. 80000 miles and rides like a dream.
  • AK and team, you are amazing! There are many people cant afford to buy a brand new car right now and your reviews for pre-owned reliable cars are spot on! (more specifically Lexus reviews). The best part to me is "the honest fuel consumption" not as per the specs sheets. Thanks again!

RX is a very Japanese design in that it is very understated and composed on the outside, it spoils the driver and passengers, and is built with quality and reliability first before all other considerations. The color screen models had Bluetooth which was a rare feature for cars in the early years of this generation.

My first Lexus was a 2005 RX330 and it has a special place in my heart. It was the first car that I finally felt safe driving in the snow because boy I use to be scared! 😅 Gained so much confidence that I would pick up my coworkers when it snowed. I ended up buying a Lexus IS & RC and I let everyone drive the RX anytime they wanted to go on a road trip. So it’s been through many drivers and many miles and still drove so SMOOTH. Better than my newer Lexus. I’m a loyal Lexus customer all due to the RX. I do miss that car!

Always loved gettin the RX350 as a loaner whenever my IS350 was in for service. I caved and got a custom order 2022 RX350 this summer and love it. It’s been the best selling luxury vehicle in the US for a long time now and see them everywhere. I think Lexus doesn’t push their marketing or segmenting as hard in other markets like they do stateside.
  • I daily drive the same car and I love it. On board, it's all about calm and low blood pressure. The dipping mirors are quite something, it's one of my favorite features with the automatic adjusted seat position. I get about 8,5 to 9,5L/100km
  • Overall, the best review for a used car. This is quite hard to find on youtube. Good job! I like it.
  • @jamest6850
My friend has the previous model (2007) with about the same KM and nothing has ever gone wrong on it. Its still super luxurious and drives like new. Its kind of unbelievable really.
  • @matthewkelly3
thanks for this, very helpful, just bought a 2012 (pre facelift) so identical to the one in this vid but 35,000 miles (57,000 km) after watching this, and you nailed it, the car is as you state and so far has, like you, impressed me more than I believed it would. Thought it would be characterless but functional but it's so all round competent and comfortable that it gets under you skin

I have had the current model F-Sport RX 350 since I bought it new at the end of 2016. When I walked out of the showroom after signing on the dotted line (shaking life a leaf), I thought "what have I just done spending $100K on a car!". I have to say, it has been worth every cent. Apart from a set of new tires and a battery, nothing has gone wrong with it and it still drives like the day I picked it up. Servicing is reasonable and the comprehensive insurance is even cheaper than what I was paying on a Nissan Maxima Ti. It is an absolute pleasure to drive, looks smart without looking like a pretentious eastern suburbs nob (i.e. BMW, Merc or VW driver) and is a dream to drive on a long trips with good fuel economy and adaptive cruise control. If you are not careful, you can get yourself into trouble with the power under the bonnet.
  • I have a 2012 450h and love it, it's a bit of a luxo barge around town but dead quiet and smooth, and it's a mile eater on the open road, did I say I loved it? awesome car!
  • Best SUV I've ever owned. I'm on my 4th year of a 2012 with 89K miles when I bought it. I'm now at 140K NO issues not once been to the Lexus dealer...fun fact Lotus buys this same model motor from Toyota to use in their sports cars 👍
  • @mikeszedon715
    I've got a 2007, 230,000 miles...drives and runs like a dream. I've also got a 2010 RX350, 125,000 miles...mint-condition, drives and runs like a dream. I just sold my 2003 GX370...great off-roader, big and safe, comfortable.
